You can see why Crocs are apex predators and have survived since the time of dinosaurs, highly intelligent and can learn your patterns, the best at ambush tactics and that large beast was moving through the water and not even making a ripple only the wind was making the water move. Great video, beautiful area, you're living the life.
Fantastic video. That croc was massive. Nile estuarine crocs in South Africa get almost as big. Fond memories of trying to wrest the fish in a cage, from a croc while fishing at St Lucia estuary.

Molly I have a suggestion for you. Have you heard of ceramic car polishes? I think the next time you are in a town you can find it at an auto parts store. I mention this because a couple of applications of it will prevent dust from settling on you solar panel. It will also shed water on the vehicle when it is in motion. Of course if you are so inclined you can also apply some to your truck! Also love, it is a bad practice to fasten hooks to your guides. You risk chipping the ceramic insert and rendering the rod useless because it will cut your line under pressure. I always look for rods that have a metal loop attached above the handle for that purpose. You can add one if you are so inclined.

With its hydrophobic properties, the ceramic coating provides excellent resistance to dirt, grime, and water spots on your car's surface. It creates a protective layer that repels water and prevents contaminants from sticking to the paint, making cleaning and maintaining the vehicle's appearance between washes easier. This holds true in the case of glass as in windshields or solar panels.
Molly you need fresh bait went your fishing. Rubber bait you got to have more luck 🍀 on your side for having a fish 🐟 supper Molly . 😊 plus your long way in the outback to go out for supper. 😮

(via Lakefield & Kalpowar is best). Stunning beaches, a huge boulder mountain range behind like Black Mt near Cooktown but on steroids, a lovely spring stream that flows out between the boulders, & great camping under the shady Wongai trees. (Wongai camping area is our favourite). Overall wonderful opportunities for drone filming, there's also the remains of a warplane wreck and a monument to the 300 plus people that died in Cyclone Mahina in 1899, most on pearling luggers/schooners. Only thing is go in calmer weather, can be extremely windy - have seen tents blown into the ocean. All the best & keep up the great work!

When you get a snag like that, try letting the tension off the line and walk down the shore and pull from a different angle to release the hook
Look up the bow an arrow technique for freeing a snagged lure 🤙🏼 works really well if ya havent driven the hooks hard into the snag
