I made this journey with my family back some 21 years ago whilst on holiday in eastern Canada from England. Recall we were served a hot meal in our coach which was of good quality. Reminded me of an airline-type meal. I guess we were on very similar if not the same coaches although if my memory is correct the loco was an LRC. Thanks for sharing this video
How long did the trip last? Did the train leave and arrive on time? I am going to make this journey at the end of November/ beginning of December and I am worried because I will arrive at 18:15h in Montreal and have an international flight to catch at 21h.
We boarded in Dorval. The trip was around 4.5 hours. If you board in Montreal, it will only be about 3.5 hours. The train did depart on time and arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule. Instead of going to Montreal, I suggest you disembark at Dorval and take the free shuttle to the airport. Dorval Station is closer to the airport and much less traffic.
"Last call", "boarding pass"? Don't Canadians know the difference between a train and an airplane?! Let people get onboard the train informally, the way they like, as they do in any normal country.
Thanks for a preview of my trip next month. Economy Class looks fine.

Pretty crowdy😜because the bus is more convenient more frequent but less comfortable
Are those trains running from Ottawa to Quebec city with a shift change in Montreal ?

From Dorval To Gare de Palais or Palace Station
How much did you pay for this economy class trip?
Just under $60 including tax.
@7:47, the cheeses look delicious (I LOVE cheese)
The cheese was amazing. They were all made in Canada - most likely Quebec.
That cheese will make me go to the restroom (or washroom, as they say in Canada).
Do they still make you wear masks on the train?
Masks are no longer mandatory on Via Rail trains.
Everything is fine on a flat earth. 😂
With all due respect, third and fourth world countries have better looking trains or HSR!!!! Get with it Canada.

Would it help any if they said, "Don’t miss your train." "Tickets please!" ??
