He and his family clearly came to the decision to keep working in the NHL which would have been with the Leafs but they let him go. He (and his family) don't suddenly have to change that decision to keep working because his intention wasn't to go elsewhere. The leafs made that decision for him.

We’ve lost all of our biggest industries because of over reaching regulation and very high taxes (by American standards). I’m pretty sure the two biggest money makers in the state are the casinos, one of which you mentioned (Foxwoods).
