    Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for. My electric oven suddenly not turning on. I used screw driver tester and found that the electricity doesn't go across the sf150r0 sefuse. Hope changing it will solve the problem.

    I've always wondered what was inside a thermal fuse. Great!
    Thermal fuses seem to blow for no reason in fan motors . The fan ran fine, then I would shut them off. Next time I turn it on, it's dead. I know for sure it was a thermal fuse in at least one of them. Because I tested the fuse with an ohmmeter. It was rated at 115°C.oh, it's a different style, it looks like a small capacitor. Leads like a disc capacitor, but the fuse is a tiny square shape.

      Good morning
      thermal fuse is a safety component against overcurrent and overtemperature
      in fan motors, blender motors it protectes the fan from damage in overheat condition due to any stuck / jam in bearings, metal bush,
      and over current condition

    Thank-you for a great explanation and maybe you could help me to find out what the thermal rating is, given this information: It is a blade type fuse for a heater/vent in the bathroom and the only information on it are these numbers/letters; 624303 109C VV4 It's an older unit, 25yrs, and we can't find a replacement fuse for it. Fasco Model 1100AB Heat-light-ventilator and the fan works fine. We were lucky enough to have bought an extra one and have replaced the fan we use more often already. Any ideas of finding a replacement part. I'm glad I found your great instructional video! Take care.

    Hello I have a coffee maker which has two thermal fuses that both look just like the one you showed. The problem is that I cannot read the values of the fuses. The print is very faded. Is there another way for me to determine what value of fuses I need to get for the coffee maker?
    One more question, if a coffee maker has two fuses instead of one, is it true that both of the fuses have the same value or are they different from each other?

    • @HaseebElectronics
      @HaseebElectronics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SF214E SEFUSE 10A 250V Thermal Fuses 216 Degrees Celsius Thermal fuse is normally used in most of coffee makers
      Most of the time Both fuses are sane value
