City has changed a lot; mostly for the better since 2008. This set is still better than current police stations. It’s absolutely huge. 1.5 full baseplates, multilevels.... so much fun
The new ones are trash now. It is more basic.

God, I remember getting this exact set for my birthday in 2009. Such a great and amazing old set. Little story, I had to move some years down the line I believe in 2013, so all the legos I had were completely disassembled and scattered around moving boxes so I just said "to hell with it" and never rebuilt them since I didn't want to spend hours upon hours checking boxes for each little part. Miss it a ton :/
far out this is a blast from the past. remember getting this set from my grandparents for christmas 2008 when i was 4. i was so excited to build it the next day

nice. I have two police stations: This one and then their New for...Road plates included one. I actually have 4 bigger sets than this one: Hogwarts Castle, Ideas Treehouse, 60110 Fire Station and Boutique Hotel
When I was in grade school I would spend my allowance to build a lego city using the city sets I have never tore it down it’s still up in my closet

I wish i had this set,this is the only station i've seen that have closed cells,a baseplate and lots of details,at least for the "recents" sets(you know,not before 2000 xD)
My brother also builded that lego police station when i was young. But i destroyed it when i was 4.........
