Thank you for your comment! The game has changed, but at the same time not at all. Minor tweaks are there you might need to get used to but should be no issue! QoL changes were definitely, and still are definitely needed but as it is not too bad. Glad you enjoyed watching!
Working on it! Will do my best to put out up to date info for this game since most of its info has been so outdated by now.. Thanks for watching and commenting! Its much appreciated!
Solid tips, always fun to see what people recommend for new players despite being late game myself. I'm always answering questions myself on the best way to progress but it's pretty much: - Unlock dark fencer. - fill out grids with same element sl10 weapons (ofc in the 6, 1, 1, 1 config with sr seraphics), before you hit rank 101 and make 1 grid of each element, not recommended to rush to high level right away as the fights are considerably harder. - run side quests for characters, and is really the only way to get ex weapons without relying on the current event having the element you need, and before you can farm xenos. - recommended NOT to save for spark unless you have a large ssr pool already since any new ssr weapon you draw at any time will likely be a new character (and only during galas ofc), only consider saving if you have a lot of them already and you just want or need specific ones, or during one of the 3 main events every year as they give tons of hand outs (anniversary/march, summer, xmas) - Farm at your own pace as there is no rush to have to do anything, though the game rewards you the more time you put into it. Just don't run everything every day as it is the fastest way to burn out. Wall of text tendencies aside cheers.
No problem! Yeah GBF seems to have this very intimidating aura behind it, but honestly its a lot of fun once you get the ball rolling! Having people to play and talk with now in my discord also immensely improved my own understanding of the game and just generally have a lot more fun now playing, perhaps its something you might want to consider aswell, since being able to ask questions or help ingame at any given time makes things a lot easier honestly. good tips man, as for those that are intimated about the whole "grind hell" thing in gbf, part of it is true since mid game u want to get those m2 weapons, but still depends on how fast u want to complete it, once u complete ur m2 + flb opus, the grind kinda subsides, unless ofc u want to be very active in gws and consistently 20+box story events
Funny you mention it as this has been a topic me and the people who have joined my discord for gbf have been discussing due to a comment I received earlier talking about how gbf is purely a grind game etc, you know the talks. I think the biggest misconception here is that people believe its a speed run thing, whilst thats not the case at all. Ofcourse there is grinding, but not to the extend people make it out to be. Was looking for beginner guide content to guide my friends who are newer players that were drawn in by the collab, so I wanted to thank you for your video. Researching, I found there is a surprising lack of modern, new player-focused content out here on YT with good commentary (most videos are from years ago). Keep up the nice work and would love to see more stuff around these - maybe intro guides to team comps, raid dailies to focus on, or basic weapon grids could be nice.
The lack is what made me decide to cover the game from start to finish again, just with updated info. A shame i seem to not have been able to explain you some tips, but this is pretty much as beginner as it gets. Tip 1 is a class recommendation, which is something the game explains right away, i tell you why its good and how to use it. Tip 2 is me suggesting to play the story to unlock a new game mode and sidestory to get some good starter gear. Tip 3 is a quest thats always on your quest screen, and i explained why its good to do. tip 4 is about saving for the right banner and 5 is me telling beginners to play the sidestories. I don't think i could have been much more beginner friendly then this.
@@asthenyukimori9853 i cant do much for team building as i cant look in to peoples accounts. In the early stages it doesnt even matter as long as its just 1 element based teams. Materials to uncap is something the game already tells you where or how to get them by just clicking on them. Farming summons is just a matter of playing their raid? As far as story goes, i don't think early game chapters have any sort of restrictions outside of character restrictions, and you also have a skip button aswell. Lots of this could be solved by a simple google search.
@@DanchouYT 1 element based teams....it mean that you have to choose 1 element team, for all your battles (altought you will not have element advantage)? Or it means to select auto-choose for every battle, and that way you will have a team focused against your next element opponent? Im a noob and always choose auto-choose, for team and summons
Idk either, this feels like stuff you should know a few hours into the game when really begginer skills should be for people that just got into the game. I guess the Dark Fencer tip and the Saving tips help but the others don't at all

@@Kasei7th yeah that was my first thoughts aswell, but considering it can be fixed in a few ways i wasn't sure if it was indeed the issue he was referring to. Regardless, thanks for watching my video! much appreciated !
Let me do it in 2021
Really dont like how this game looks
Oh man, this is not a beginner tips, I don't even know what you talking about, lol.
@@DanchouYT how about team building for beginner, material for uncap, farming summon, I can't even get past chapter 20+
What are u talking about with alllll this ?
I cant understand shit man
Idk either, this feels like stuff you should know a few hours into the game when really begginer skills should be for people that just got into the game.
I guess the Dark Fencer tip and the Saving tips help but the others don't at all
