- After my success with solid dish soap, I was looking for more ways to cut back on waste, so I made some solid shampoo.
I can't take credit for the recipe, though. The only thing I did was sub out avocado oil for sweet almond oil. You can find that online: soap-recipes.c...

What was the result? Did you like it for your hair?
I was not a fan. But I had friends with dry and curly hair who loved it!
I was told, in the state of FLorida, you dont need a cosmetic license if you sell under 25k/year. Is that person right?
It is my understanding that you can only manufacture and sell soap (lye+oils saponified), otherwise you need a permit. But now you have me wondering. I'll look into it more!

How easy would it be to reduce these quantities, as i would like round bars but dont want to buy three sets of the moulds. One set maybe 2 at a push. So basically can i reduce so i would have enough for 4 round bars? How?

Are you using caustic soda to make lye?
I suggest look into fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.

Hi! It can vary slightly from batch to batch, but it's always under 10. Hope that helps!
@@thegildedbubble supposedly anything over 7 is really bad for your hair, and preferences is around a pH of 5.
