The Sony LinkBuds S seemed like a detour on the path that the original LinkBuds started -- but after some time with the slightly more conventional truly wireless earbuds, I'm a fan. For those who want to have a more classic experience with ANC earbuds, these are a great choice -- but their light weight and great ambient sound help make these one of the most comfortable pairs out there. When it comes to audio sony is very trusted when it comes to this.
I've been leaning towards them for a while, finally decided to bite the bullet. It has been 24 hours and I'm quite impressed.
The battery rating is with ANC on. I’ve read that you can get up to 9 hours in off mode but who’s gonna buy ANC earbuds and not use it ya know? Lol awesome video and new sub.
I'm currently a fan of the WF-C500. But really want the Linkbuds S for it's value. And Prime Day has a discount on these buds.

Great video. I'm currently on LinkBuds but sometimes I'm not feeling the open back anymore and it becomes a problem. Can't be bothered with the nothing ear 1 anymore with all the failing connections. May try this pair :)
I think the volume and anc plays a huge part of the battery. When I put them in for sleeping, I turn off anc, speak to chat and turn down the sound (I like around 10% for sleeping) I can easily get through 7 hours with left to spare.

Just got them for $155 during prime day. Totally more comfortable then the xm4, buds 2 and buds pro that I have.
how about the sound quality compared to buds 2?
@@kikifade12 way better then the buds 2. I sold both pairs of galaxy buds.
I was considering the buds2 pro before buying these fellas. Not sure if I made the right decision choosing these over the Samsung ones but they are pretty neat.

I don't have a link, but they are KF95 masks. plenty of them around, just make sure they're genuinely Korean
I am using a Samsung s20 phone and I'm trying to use these earbuds. Is there a way to have them announce to me when I have an incoming text message? I cannot seem to figure out how to get them to tell me when I have a text message come in. I know I can tell Google to read them to me but I wanted to tell me when I have a message. Also when I get a phone call come in they do not tell me who is calling it just rings but it doesn't tell me who is calling. I have to be missing something somewhere. I would appreciate your help
Just ordered one today on Amazon for 158.
I'm wery impressed off working Sony linkbuds S they are real good and yesterday I fole a sleep with them in ear so they are wery good and cousy for the ear. And I bot them 2 weaks ago for 100€ store has 40% day and I must buy them . And I'm glad that i didn't goo with cheaper ones.

adaptive sound control is based on the motion of the phone not the buds or headphones, just to be clear
The dealbreaker is the wind noise during call that can't be turned off. I believe It might be deal breaker for many
Good review & helped me make my decision . The S stands for silent . Sony has confirmed this .

xm5s suck bad that sound is awful the sound is not very tight they sound like a echo chamber
