Instead of making BTS look like a group of boys with good looks and a big fan base, this interview really respected BTS and considered them as real artists. Thank you for this wonderful interview
They've done 99999 US Interviews yet this one feels like it's their first official US interview because it looked like the boys felt as if the world is finally interested in knowing more things deeper about them rather than just who their celebrity crushes are.
Also they were able to answer in Korean so it gave them a chance to actually talk aside from random bits of English and namjoon saying everything for them
fr im tired of the same "whats your favorite food? color? whos your favorite american singer? actress?" typa questions. Like ask them GOOD questions damn
The way taehyung answered about ARMYs are giving them the WINGS to fly, short and simple, meaningful indeed. Here I am crying in a business meeting where idk anything of.
Wonderful respectful interview. None of that fangirly scandaly gossipy garbage. Suga was into it, that's how you know it's a good interview. Legit treated like musicians and not show ponies put up by their company. Love how almost each member answered a question. Love RM chose to say Mr bang with original pronounciation. Thank you Grammy's.
You know its a good interview when Yoongi speak a lot , he breathes and lives through music and you can see how passionate he is about it , people out here are talking about looks but Yoongi is really a true artist and music is everything to him and he said a lot of inspirational things during the full interview . I hope they will release the other parts soon .
I was actually surprised to see Yoongi being the first to speak in the interview, I couldn't even believe it. Then again his love and passion for music speaks volumes and I simply enjoyed listening to his input
@@genesisshuler7288 its not a suprise Yoongi has always been like that , even during the billboard interview that they did at the beggining of this year , the interviewer said that Yoongi was the most out spoken when it comes to his music , social and political matters , and how his goal is always to inspire people with his music , even mr Scott the person who interviewed them here tweeted about Yoongi and how passionate he is . You dont find him talking much when theyre asked about their favorite colors and artist and dream collabs and random questions but he always speak up and answers when it matters .
Imane Ben Really? I gotta see those interviews. Sorry I wasn't trying to upset anybody by my comment it's just that I rarely see any interviews when he's this talkative, it's mostly Namjoon talking or giving feedback. I'm glad that I have this newfound information about Yoongi, thank you for telling me it
@@genesisshuler7288 You're welcome , Yoongi just have the language barrier with english although he can understand it really well and sometimes doesnt need the translation to understand the questions , but he still not confident enough to reply solely in english thats why i love when there is a translator to make it easy for them , that way people have the opportunity to understand how amazing Yoongi's thoughts are and how inspirational and well spoken he is .
This interview takes my respect for them to another level,,, all members speak out although in most of their English talkshows they don't speak except RM... It's nice to hear from these gentlemen...
the problem with talk shows is that you cant really have subtitles added later on like this.. and them speaking in korean and then a translator translating that to the audience and host would be too messy. sucks but not really the talk shows fault
BigHit did a great job to 'minimize' the interviews in US, and then resulted this amazing show for BTS' publicity. Everyone engages in to the talk. Hopefully BTS will be recognized for the quality they bring to the wider audiences
The thing I like the most about BTS is their music. Their songs are very diverse. It's relatable, it touches lives, its full of meaning and very intellectual. whalien 52, baepsae, spine breaker, am i wrong, not today, etc.Its not all about love songs or heartbreaks, they tackle every feeling, issue and phase under the sun. Their discography, although 5 years old, speaks about all kind of issues, from love, heartbreak and sadness to mental health, youth empowerment, sel-acceptance and self-love...They inspire and amaze me, being their fan has made me a better person.
I'm so happy about how good these questions are, I'm also really grateful that you let all members talk and in their language, I wanted to hear Yoongi, Hoseok and the others talk so much, cause I know how bad they wanna express themselves, even our cute lil Kookie said it, but if I'm happier for Hoseok and Suga is because I know how bad they wanna talk but also how mad they are about not knowing english, cause Taehyung, Jimin, Jin and JungKook talks the more even if its in a broken english, not talking about Namjoon, I think we all can agree that his english is excellent lmao But I'm still really happy for all of them, cause I also sometimes don't know or forget how we say something in english (I actually learned this language by watching BTS 😂😂)
@@alyssah.2957 Thank you lmao, and no its not my first language, its actually my third, even if in middle school I was better in japanese (because of animes) then english. I'm Algerian, so my first language is Arabic, my second is French and my third is English, I also choose Spanish in high school but since I don't really use it, I began to forgot all what I've already learned 😭😂 And I wanted to learn japanese since middle school, and now I wanna also know korean and chinese x"D I'm actually just talking, I wanna do it but I just want it when in school to not do my homework...etc 😂😂 Can y'all give me some motivation please ?? I'm entering college in one month and I'm like the laziest person on earth 😂😂 Sorry, I talked too much 😥😅😂😂
wow, you're so great. I want to learn another language beside Eng, but it seem so difficult, i think it will be a mess in my brain. Do you have any tips ? Please share me sth, how you learn vocabulary or pronunciation, pla pla...
omg thats so cool! I'm only fluent in English. My Spanish is a bit poor, can't roll my rr's, and I barely know enough Korean and Japanese to hold a conversation. But I love language and I want to communicate with more people. I have no college tips except to keep at it. Keep a planner and a calendar for any dates you need to remember. For language... for me, it's easier to start with a teacher, along with self-study -- looking at workbooks as a guide point for where you should focus. Also language partner apps like Hello Talk. I've had decent conversations with people on there in Spanish and felt more confident to work at it when I made friends. TH-cam videos are a helpful tool as well. Follow people that speak the languages that you want.. Watch television shows with English subtitles, listen to songs, etc.
It's honestly the most satisfying thing in the world to listen how holy trinity of musicmakers of BTS are talking about music. Be it in their vlives or in any interview I can listen to Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok talking about music and their process of creating it forever)
YaRiKun and their little producer brother Jungkook who just joined their production team. Suga said that he always asks him to help with composing & beats making 😄
this is an excellent interviewer. did his research and was very interested in these gentlemen’s music, history and career. I’ve noticed many western interviews of this group aren’t very thorough and serious. and you can see them actually engaging in the interview rather than just sitting there. this is very well done
Ikr? He asked about musicmaking process a lot and it's so satisfying to listen to holy trinity of musicmakers of BTS to talk about it. Be it on their vlives or on any interview I can listen to RM, Suga and JHope seaking about music and their process of making it for ages, so I was really in love with Grammy interview)
this is the grammys. its all about the music. cant really compare this to the 'normal' interviews bts and any other celebrities do for like 5 minutes. there are a few good intrviewers like zach sang and elvis duran for example who are all about the music, but grammys are all about the music too.
I know! Unlike to the audiences in Ellen, they were very mature. They did cheer when jimin and V spoke, but not so much so that you couldn't hear their voices. They knew when to stop.
For the first time I did not feel uncomfortable watching BTS doing an interview in the US. They deserve to get serious questions like those and they deserve to talk about their music - their MAIN focus, the thing they want to share with the world. Also the comments down here are great, I've never read so many thoughtful comments at once under a video. All the deep thoughts and opinions.
These are the questions I've always been curious about. Also, Yoongi loves talking about his music, I love hearing him talk about it.Thank you so much for this amazing interview and for giving BTS a chance
These are the question they should be asking them in interivews. Really make them think but not to hard. And get them all talking make them and me feel comfortable
Thank you for giving them a chance to express themselves and asking them questions about music!! If possible please upload the full interview. Not just for us ARMY's but for everyone. I wish the general public gets to know more about them and their music. Thank you!
Isabel Diaz The full interview you mean? It's not available yet, reason I was asking them to please upload it for everyone to watch. There were reporters during the interview. There'a at least a Billboard and an MTV report about it, but no footage, just transcripts of what they said.
I was wondering if this was the full interview as well since I thought it was kind of short, but I gathered from the initial transcripts from the fans who were there that I’d read so far had pretty much the same questions and answers thought it seemed like a lot more content lol, and on the Grammy Museum twitter page the tweet to this video says “watch the full conversation” and a link to this video so this must be the full interview sigh I think we were all hoping for more but I’m still content that the boys got this wonderful opportunity and hope it reaches a lot of people
Other interviewers should learn from this Grammy thank you for showing the haters that our boys are recognised for their music and you are curious about it rather than their Hollywood crush Yoongi was in heaven, I can sense it
@@smilee2566 like in the first us visit where they did interviews and the questions all seemed to be the same. one radio host whos a big fan of bts (and his daughter as well, i think thats why hes so nice to armys, he sees it first hand with his daughter) told that they didnt really get to ask too many questions. apparently so that all the members would be able to somewhat answer and understand the questions :-) made sense afterwards even tho i dont really think it was a good solution. altho fans need to keep in mind that different interviewers are doing the interview for their audience, not for fans who watch every single thing. you know? so repetitive questions are common and kind of justified as well. there are a few interviewers who are known for doing great and different interviews
@@mann7298 yes, that sounds like a strange solution lol thank you for explaining! I was curious/worried if Bighit were doing that coz of bad US interview experience or because they didn't want certain things to be known. So yeah thanks.
@@smilee2566 yea i think theyve learned. the last time the guys had translations given to their ears so they knew what was going on more and interviewers have embraced the language barrier as well and just put on subtitles for the video interviews and have actually listened to fans in some things. getting better every time
I'm dreaming of a day when all 7 of em speaks fluent English. Right now all their English speaking has improved so much. (Except R.M since he was already fluent long ago lol).
BTS gave such thought-provoking and insightful answers to this interview! thank you to the grammys for taking the time to really research bts and understand their philosophy and their passion to spread music that resonates and connects with people! i also appreciate that bts talk korean allowing them to communicate better :)
yaa! you’re right.. i don’t really like it when the interviewer ask unimportant things. i mean, they’re musicians too, they deserved to be asked about how their music made seriously and how great it is. thank you grammy! 😊 (i actually love funny interview too, but i’ve waited for this kind of interview since forever)
BTS has done so many interviews in the US. But this one just seems like the official one. It feels real and genuine. Not some gossip rumors or celebrity crush kind of thing. These are the real question we all wanted to know the answers of. BTS is making history, it’s real and it’s big. Suga actually enjoyed this interview. You can tell just by looking at his face. They all know that people around the world are actually starting to dig deep about them. They know now that people want to know them. BTS is a group that came from a very small company. No one expected then to get interviewed by Grammys. Their fans are everything to them. I have never went to a concert before (rip) but my friend did, and she said that at the end of the concert.all the members came close and tried to make eye contact with every fan. Which just shows how much they appreciate us. Haters can hate them. But they can’t deny that BTS are making history. Because it’s a fact. I honestly came for the looks, I never knew I would fall this deep. I never knew I would cry cuz of some lyrics. I never knew I would fall in love with 7 beautiful young dorks. I stayed for them. I stayed for their lyrics. I stayed for the fandom. I stayed for everything about them. I’m starting to cry right now.
This interview is very insightful. Thank you Grammy for accommodating BTS. I hope more people watch and pay attention to their words. It really highlights what makes them different and special.
Honestly, for me, the thing that sets BTS apart from any other artists that I have listened to is their sincerity in music and their personality.. I don't know how to exactly express in words but it feels like we fans are exploring a certain topic, for eg. "Love Yourself", with BTS together.. It's not like they are commanding us to do anything or giving advices like a psychiatrist would do!! They are actually learning about that topic together with us.. Whether it was about youth, temptation, depressions, adulthood, loving ourselves, all these topics that are included in their albums, they are exploring those topics with us and trying to find a conclusion.. Moreover, they are just sharing their real life stories ,their emotions with us which are very relatable.. For some people they may not be the best singers, best dancers or best looking but believe me they are the sincerest human beings you could ever meet and that sincerity and warmth can be felt in their music.. If you are someone who listens to music not by their brain but by heart, then you should definitely give BTS a chance.. :) Also the interview was great.. I feel proud that they have come so far from where they started..
I totally agree with learning together with the boys. It’s like a continuous process for both us and them and that is what struck me the most too, having someone with you while going through these things. It’s amazing really how they can truly speak to your heart.
I feel like BTS is so unique for some reason. I literally get into kpop for them but even after many years i can't find any other group that feels so special to me. At first i was atracted to the choreos, the music (not the lyrics because i was a little bad with english back then and i didn't search so much about it), but when i really get to meet their lyrics, their history and their personalities i think i really understand they would not be just artists with musics i would enjoy sometimes. The whole stories of HYYH, Wings and LY made me emotional and lead me to learn a lot of things, cultural and about myself at a level no other history did. I'm just so gratefull to meet them because i feel i can learn and grow with them, being happy and proud and using them to keep me motivated. I feel the love they give to army is so real that i want to always give them this love back
Thank you so much for asking them really good and well-researched questions! I am beyond proud of them and their achievements and I am glad that this interviewer was interviewing our boys. From what I heard from ARMYs that were attending the conversation he seemed to be really well-informed (even about the meaning of the color purple to us and the line "I love myself“ from Cypher 4). Again, thank you so much for focusing on their artistry! I hope they will win a Grammy (or more) in the future and are able to perform on your stage🤗💜
OT7 Wes ikr they are smiling so hard 0:44 you can tell they have been waiting patiently for a question like this but nobody nobody not even in korea has asked them this fully before about song writing and let them answer it properly I’m so HAPPY RN 🙌🤗
It's Grammy Museum. They wont ask "which america artist would you like to collab" ? And the same things. So I show respect because Bts ain't no other pretty boygroup (to me)
Thank you for providing a translator and asking such sincere questions about their music including their production process/inspirations/message, and thank you BTS for saying ARMY are your wings 💜 It’s incredible to see BTS fly higher and higher, and yet they remain so down to Earth about themselves/who they are, their experiences, and are so humble. Not only are they amazing musicians who are bringing people all over the world closer together with their art, but they’re amazing people as well!
this is so great. un white washed interview good questions armys were quiet and respectful they didn't ask about celeb crushes our boys are gonna win a Grammy one day, let's get it army! Edit: omg thank you for the likes 😭😭
Yet I wish their answers to the more personal, intimate questions were less generic and reserved. I know fans won't like this, but you gotta see they still don't have the freedom to speak about things like fights, discussions, disagreements or even complaints about their job, and, sadly, I don't think they ever will.
yes. YES. _this_ is the type of interview that bts deserves. an interview where there are _all_ allowed to communicate directly how they feel about the questions being asked. an interview where they don’t have to feel uncomfortable with the pressure of communicating in english when they are still in the process of learning (excluding namjoon
I really love the way Min Yoongi handles himself; he has such a professional and genuineness about him when he talks about music and that makes me want to learn from him! Min Yoongi doesn't seem fake at all! J-hope can barely contain his excitement which tells me that he is really happy right now and if y'all haven't noticed lately he isn't making all those sound effect he use to make! Jimin has the sweetest heart ever; his purity, innocence and shyness make you want to hold him tight forever! Jungkook makes me proud whenever he speaks ( he use to be so quiet ), because he always has something meaningful and quite mature to add to the conversation! It seemed like Tae had been waiting for that question for years and he finally got the chance to answer ( we're grateful for you too Tae💜)! I can always tell the amount of pressure RM is under when he has to speak English and I just want to say that RM deserves a lot of credit for all that he does for Bangtan and Big Hit there is literally no one like him! Jin is Jin who is not this deep person, but in every since reminds me of this unencumbered person that just flows with the wind ( free spirit ); I think it would take a lot to make Jin loose his cool ( even when he's whining he's still in control ). I can't remember what Jin said. I am just now putting together Bang and Bangtan boys; Bangtan is literally Bang's boys🤓! I'm feeling pretty proud of myself right now☺️!
Nothing better than hearing Yoongi talk about his music ❣️❣️ ❣️This was probably their best interview yet. I appreciate the insightful questions so they could give meaningful responses. Thank you!
It’s nice to finally see them being appreciated as actual artists where they get to talk about their music and not just them being some kind of novelty. And to think the grammy museum are the ones giving them this platform to speak out is mindblowing Also stream idol lets keep her on hot100 GUYS BUY NAMJOONS MIXTAPE ‘MONO’ that drops on 23/10 !!!
When Jungkook answered you can tell in his voice how important this responsibility they've decided to take is for them. He's the youngest and it can't be easy to know and being told daily that your music makes the lives of so many much happier and bearable and that it is in your power to keep doing so. I admire them for keep going every day and trying their hardest to keep their sincerity under so much pressure.
Dude no other interview I’ve seen with bts has been even half as good as this one. He’s actually asking really good questions instead of “who are you gonna collab with next”. I’m really happy about this, it’s what bts deserves
I've always been curious about their process of song writing, especially since I don't have much knowledge about the process in general. I've found it fascinating how their songs fit the theme of the conversation that they want to have with the album and have wondered if they they start with the idea "I want to talk about this" and the rest develops. It's really interesting and the fact that so much thought is put into the song to not only make it song that sounds good and flows well, but also something that comforts and is so thought out into the finer details to give a message makes me grateful to have encountered BTS their music in my lifetime.
I at times think BTS is a revolution. The way they are able to connect with people from across the globe irrespective of their race, age, language, religion truly amazes me everyday. Bang PD's intention was to make a group that would be a voice for the young people. How great it is that BTS is the voice of our generation? a group that preaches about loving yourself, about going after your dreams, about it being ok to not have a grand dream like everyone else, mental health and critique of society......there's so much that makes BTS stand out. No one knows what the future will hold for them, but BTS are the kind of artists that will be remembered for a long time.
That last sentence made me tear up. They really will be remembered as legends (in the same category as artists like The Beatles, MJ, Tupac) who made history, broke records, and inspired a new generation of youth. You know how every generation has its artists that speak for them? BTS is the voice of our generation: discussing mental illness when it's still taboo in many parts of the world, discussing the flawed education system and how it is disadvantageous for the youth, discussing women's rights when many countries have very little- they're not just THE voice, they're also giving a voice to the voiceless. I've seen their impact on so many people whether I saw it online or in person. They're literally saving lives with their selfless message, and I'm so glad that BTS' mission statement saved BTS themselves, too.
This interview was amazing. The guy did an amazing job, even took the time to do his research. Didn't ask them "1st day of school" questions like "What's your favorite food".... Easily could search up that question (ik cause i did lmao)
“Five years since debut. Little guys full of dreams but nothing else Now have so much more. We used to only dream of our dreams But now we are the dreams of others. Life is a repetition of choices and regrets. I am scared. We are scared. We dreamt of flying high, But up here is so cold I gasp for breath. The more light shines on us, The more shadow there is. What a relief that there are seven of us. What a relief that we have each other.” - Min Yoongi
I love to see BTS in american interviews, but honestly I'm so happy for this one, because as a fan of them I already kinda know the answers for this questions, they always talk about how important their message in their lyrics are, i know how hard working they are, and how they help and listen each other to create each album, this is the reason why BTS has such a big and loyal fandom, because we already know what they want to achieve, the meaning behind their lyrics, this is not just for fame, or money, they have a purpose, to help all people to love themselves, to accept who we are, to work hard, to believe in our dream, and to accept if we don't have one, and sometimes help us to get one. But this interview is for the people who don't have an idea of who the real BTS is, they are not just some popular twitter group, or just some kpop group, they are so much more than that, and I hope people can realize that. Don't prejudge people, bc u can't never know how amazing can someone be. They literally brought happiness to my life, they help me when I most needed it. They show me how to accept and love who I am, and to never give up. Don't be afraid of the unknown, give BTS a chance and listen to their songs, cause each album, each song has a story, and a meaning. You won't regret it 💜
Thank you, Mr. Goldman and the Grammy Museum for having BTS on this wonderful stage and asking them such thoughtful questions about their music, their process, and their relationship with fans. It is not often we see these talented young men have the opportunity to share these thoughts, especially here in the State where they are still perceived to be "just a boy band". I hope this clip (and perhaps more clips to come) help US viewers see just how meaningful and genuine these young artists are.
This is the by far the best interview they have ever done. This shows that they are now recognized as artists and their hard work is what got them here. Truly amazing.
I think it's amazing to have such huge artists still understand the impact of their art on the world. More and more mainstream artists give up on songwriting & producing but these guys are still dedicated to their craft while also making sure to use their platform to spread a better message, WHICH IS NEEDED. They seem very sincere and humble, its refreshing.
I wish more interviews they had were this insightful and oriented around their MUSIC, because that is after all their life and you can tell a lot of them are most passionate when talking about their music. And having the in ears for translation and allowing them to speak in Korean, ugh amazing loved this
I'm so glad that they asked more in depth questions. I get so tired hearing the same "What's your favorite American food" and "What's your favorite hair color" and questions that other interviewers ask. Our boys are so passionate about their work and we never get to hear about that when interviewers ask such shallow questions.
Well... i've not come across artists who love their fans as much as BTS, except Siti Nurhalizah from Malaysia. They appreciate their fans so much that they dont care to act like stars or behave like gods when they meet fans. When they meet fans, they interact like old friends. Their love for fans is genuine. They do things to satisfy fans and make them happy. Siti's fans say they dont get tired loving her.
I think this might be the first American interview that actually does BTS justice. Thanks to the interviewer’s well researched questions, the boys’ intelligence and well spoken mannerism is finally being shown. Us fans are used to seeing this in Korean interviews, but we’re so grateful to finally have it highlighted in the US. Much thanks to the Grammy museum for inviting our boys and giving them the chance to finally be taken seriously for their music and talent.
The Zach king show did a great job as well interviewing BTS as well, you should check that one out too. But yea they actually took their music seriously instead of just asking who their American celebrity crush is.
I see no idols here, I see musicians that wanted to send a message and they finally could because they didn't have to act in a certain way, but act as themselves... Love their music!! And of course, I purple them 💜
It's no coincidence that so many people are into BTS music, but not kpop in general. BTS have something different, they have discussed many social issues through their music & mental health issues that are considered taboo in many countries. Good music goes beyond language barriers!
Umm actually they would have to be somewhat different in order for people to like them though tbh...I mean they have a larger international fanbase compare to Korea app yh..I mean people wouldn't just listen to them even though they don't understand their language..it's what they sing about..I love big bang but not even them as kpop legends achieved what bt s has..but they have paved the way for younger kpop artists
You're right. BTS is the only Kpop I listen to. First, 'coz of the looks and music beats. But when I turned on subtitles I fell inlove so hard. Plus their personalities, they are hard working but fun.
you’re right. they’re the only kpop group i listen to. other groups don’t appeal to me like they do. it’s so hard for me to explain but there’s something really special about them that pulls me in.
@@daviddacus8168 actually there were other kpop groups that were "successful" but not like BTS in terms of impact, music or social impact so no.... they are kind of different than other acts since they are the only ones who are experiencing this phenomenon... BTS is going global, not kpop
Imagine when BTS finally win the GRAMMY they deserve, and then they're all teary and overwhelmed as they walk up together on the stage. Namjoon does his speech as he chokes back his sobs. Yoongi cups his mouth to quiet his weeps. Jin, Jungkook, and Taehyung all have visible tears runnibg down their cheeks. Jimin and Hoseok continuously wipe their eyes with their sleeves as they look at the ARMYs in the corws lovingly. As they walk off, they're all huddled together as one a big, happy family. This is the power of 7 humble legends who spend countless hours a day working on their inspirational music and moving the hearts of millions of ARMY'S all over the world.
Well done BTS👏 Very few artists value their fans and message through their music. It is incredible how their songs all tell a message about self love and such to the extent that people can relate and learn. I hope for their music to be more recognized throughout the worldwide industry, for their passion. Let's all learn to listen without prejudice, then more can realize how great this group is. It doesn't matter if they're asian, we need more representation among music and barriers to be broken in the market. I'm proud and wish for them to advance further.
I cannot say how appreciative I am of this interview, even if it's only a small portion. You have such a kind and respectful interviewer, the ARMY isn't screaming over their answers, and everyone spoke. Not only that, but they spoke in Korean and could say what they truly wanted us to know. You asked them about music, their inspiration, their passion and love for it, and then topped it off with how we are behind them every moment and vice versa. They aren't white washed, everything here is absolutely perfect.
This is why I pity the people that only look on the outside or go with what the majority say, their missing out on not only some amazing talent but an amazing human being who is constantly working and searching for a better version of themselves while inspiring others to do the same.
DEF! And KPop groups who carelessly make BTS as a reference for a success but fails to put it into context regarding how BTS is diff from its very beginning and the diff process they've been through compared to other groups.
Now THIS is an interview. Thank you for focusing on what they do rather than keep saying how "crazy" their fans are. They deserve to be recognized for their hard work and what they're trying to say us through their music.
@@Kitanna98 your right but at the same token some BTS fans are crazy, micromanaging, sexualizing and the list goes on. Army is not horrible, as a matter of fact most of Army are respectfully of BTS but it's a noticeable bunch that are immature and toxic. Yes they work super hard and they love army but if BTS "got caught" dating someone(God forbid another girl) then their fans would go insane and they would prob lose fans and that's just the sad truth of it all.
Lit man I agree with everything you said. Yeah there are those crazy fans, as there are crazy fans every fandom but, like you said, most ARMYs are respectful. However, a lot of the interviews that BTS have done in America kept trying to paint ALL ARMYs as being crazy, rabid 12 year olds. Some of the interviewers didn't even ask them about music they many focused on the fans, so it's nice to see an interview that focused on music and had a question about the fans that didn't make us sound insane. I hate that they would lose some fans over dating someone, but it's sadly inevitable that some would leave, but from what I've seen on twitter and TH-cam, a lot of ARMYs seem supportive of them dating, (myself included of course) at least from what I've seen by IARMYs.
I loved this interview no collaborations, no your favorite actress and that other bullcrap BTS are amazing when it comes to there music and I happy to finally see a interview deep like this
hobiwannakookie _ eugh me too! Tbh I always find the past american interviews kind of cringey because the questions were not that good and mature if u get what I mean 😂
*my friends acually went to their interview and said how good it was and how they express themselves and how they can explain everything they do and how their amazing music changes the world*
Do you know if this is only a small part of the interview? Allot of the articles written about it have "quotes" from the interview that do not appear in this video?
Lofty Radish Yes this is actually just a part of the interview. There are other questions, too because I had read a fan account written by a fan attending this in which she listed all Q&A during the interview. I hope other parts or the full clip will be released later
I love BTS and I've been trying to stan other groups. I just listen to them occasionally and I know the members and funny moments, etc. But I just can't get myself to like them as much as BTS. I know there are groups who prouduce, like Seventeen or iKon and I do listen to them sometimes. But I still prefer BTS. I think it's because they have music that speaks to me LYRICALLY. I know other groups have relatable lyrics but not as many as BTS. Even their love songs are so intricately worded. Also, I think what seperates BTS from other groups is their journey that I'm sure we're already familiar with. No other group can recreate the journey and evolution BTS went through authentically. We also know they were given more freedom, as they came from an unknown company. That helped me see their true personalities in shows or bangtan bombs from 2013-2016. Now they seem to censor themselves more often than not because of their critics and fans. But that doesn't bother me because they still remain true to themselves and I already know their true personalities. Burn The Stage confirmed that once again this year. Other groups who do shows or vlive seem funny and sweet but I had a hard time understanding what they really were like because they seemed to be more reserved with their language and actions. When I first got around to listening to all of BTS' albums, I was emotionally attached to their music even more so than before, when I had just watched a few of their MVs. I started checking social media and looked out for new memes everyday. Soon enough, BTS became a big part of my life. ARMY became a fandom that I had a love/hate relationship with. I found my best friend through them. Before them I had, more often than not, depressive/suicidal thoughts when something bad happened in my life. After BTS, I started thinking more positively. That year I starting listening to BTS, I had lower grades, but I was much happier than the last year. MUCH happier. BTS isn't just a group to me. It's a weird relationship but they're almost like my friends. I understand them and they appreciate that, even if they don't understand me personally. But their music makes up for that. When I read their lyrics, they're sincere and that fills up the gap that they have with me -- with us. It makes me think that they really do know how we feel and they portray that beautifully through lyrics and music. So yeh. Thats why I love BTS. And even if Big Bang are the kings and Shinee are the legends and Super Junior are the presidents and SNSD are the queens and Twice are the rulers and Red Velvet are the pharaohs and GFriend are the Dictators and Backpink is the revolution, I'm just gonna love BTS. If you read it up to here, then I thank your devotion.
"BTS isn't just a group to me, it's a weird relationship" I can relate to your words completely. To me, they're like long lost friends you haven't met in a while. You know, friends that went abroad and didn't end up coming back, but you're still close to them. It sounds stupid but hey, can't help it :P And I agree with what you said about them being a big part of your life. They're no longer a group for me or just some random music that I listen to cheer myself up, they're much more than that. Every day I wake up and think about them. If it had not been them, I would have not been a healthy person, mentally. They came into my life when I wasn't in the best phase. And also, what you said about being happy. I'm more happy as a person too, I laugh more (how can you not laugh at these silly dorks!Hahaha) But sometimes I wonder, what is this fallacy that we're connected to these boys. We find more solace in the virtual world than in the real world. And we do know that ultimately we have to live in the world, do what we're supposed to do, but we don't feel like because unlike these boys, the world doesn't give you a feeling of being home, the comfort and the idea that you're special and capable and perfectly okay in your own skin (love yourself hahaha) That'll be enough , I guess I've written a lot
The message they have or the "intention" is really one of the many things that makes them different than an idol k-pop group or even an ordinary boy group! Because it's relatable its transparent alot of people of all ages can feel comfort from their music that makes me very proud to be called a fan of them! Although I kind of gave up on music being healthy anymore bts have changed my mind the first time I listened to them which have really surprised me honestly but now after learning and going on a journey with them I can guarantee you that they're such an influencing young men with their music and personalities. Thank you again for this amazing interview I've always wanted to know their thoughts! Thank you so much!
well this interview may have only been 6 mins and 5 questions long, but it was already more insightful than numerous other interviews they have been thrown into. thank you Goldman sir, and yes to objective resolution of disagreements-this is something everyone should learn p.s. will the full interview be released? :) we can't get enough
Big Hit slogan is "Music and Artists for healing", the vision behind Bang Si Hyuk oppa project was truely beautiful. I also love the fact that no matter how young he is and I am sure there's a lot of things he wishes he could do (actually they all do) Jungkook is so conscious of the responsibility that comes with fame and the impact of his acts. I stan the right band ppl 😏
I have so much to say, so... 1) I really like and very much appreciate how this specific interview allowed us AMRY to get a little insight on the production and all of the songs that we love and enjoy so much. How the boys, along with Mr. Bang, come together to write these songs, the music and choreography (everything I don't know added). there hasn't been an interview (as far as I know) that shed light on this process. I'm grateful to GRAMMYs for that. 2) Secondly, I would like to thank them for allowing the members to talk in their native language because some of the members (like Suga and J-Hope) really want to express their views on a question or topic, but then they can't because they don't know English. Namjoon, we know, is amazing at English. Jin, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook know quite a bit of English, even if it isn't perfect but they manage to get their point across. 3) They FINALLY did not whitewash the whole band. This also brings me to the fourth point. 4) BTS was focused on as a whole group. Not just individual members and their personalities, but a septet group of musical artists. This may seem similar to my first point but, most interviews have questions that they can't answer as a whole group (mostly interest and all) but here it's clearly different. 5) The message, purpose and/or intention of the band was discussed. Like, how it was born and why they have this relationship with their fans as well as why fans love them so much. What makes them different, etc. Finally, this interview was very well done and treated BTS with respect as artists and respect towards their cause. It was different and I really appreciate it! Well done!! -LadyofPandemonium
honestly being an Army i had learned a lot from them through their music. At first i never thought to love myself first,im kind of girl who always put someone else before this bcs i think i want every people to love me ,but act we need to love ourselves first.i support bts till today bcs of their sincerity their put into the music .im so grateful that although bts are now like the top in the world but they still do their music, still give a great performance and also dont forget us ,Army.there are a reason why we all stan to bts
Me too, I'm a girl who was raised in a good family but as I developed I became more broken or like to say depression got to me and with BTS I changed this past few months as I only been in for 8 months till now.
Anyone who is interested, BTS is a 7 member group from South Korea. They debuted in 2013, their earlier albums ( which they self produced and made) consisted of them criticising the unfair education system and the corruptive wider society, as well as them comforting the younger generation which has to deal with it.Their recent albums ( that make up the Love Yourself series) although still consisting of songs talking about wider society, mainly focus on themes like self acceptance, healing and self love. BTS are also global ambassadors of UNICEF and have participated in numerous charity work in the past. Please do give them a chance and check out their songs My personal favourite tracks: 1.Silver Spoon 2. Spring Day 3. Outro:Tear 4. Paradise 5. Love Myself 7. The Truth Untold 8. Tomorrow
i'm so happy to have them in my life, they're such down to earth guys, they literally started from the bottom and it's so amazing to be on this road with them watching them grow and make us proud, i've been to some music fandoms before but i've never experienced something like this, there's only one thing bigger than our devotion to bts and that is bts' dedication to their art, i feel like i could talk about every little detail in their music forever i'm russian and i grew up listening to songs in english cause popular music here is utter shite but falling in love with songs in korean turned out to be an experience, bts really broadened my perspective on many things, i'm rooting for everything they represent right now in the world
Here in lies the "obsession" if you must call it that, we fans have with them. There's always a teaching moment. a moment of sincerity that gives you that ah ha! moment. They are so young but so mature at the same time. In this toxic world of me, me, me, it's very refreshing to see BTS consider the consequence of the impact their music and actions have on their fans.
not even a bts fan but i am so damn excited and happy for the group and their fandom, this is BIG

Instead of making BTS look like a group of boys with good looks and a big fan base, this interview really respected BTS and considered them as real artists. Thank you for this wonderful interview
Of course, they are interviewed by scott goldman, one of recording academy members/proffesional people not by kpop/gossip journalist.
I think they've been doing that a lot more recently, not asking the stupid questions
Cheri Tang yes, the questions were interesting
Yeah, u r right 😄
Cheri Tang you must be used to hollywood trash, this is the grammys and scott goldman. this is a different sphere.
when you make suga interested in an english interview then you are the winner

It was because he is in his element, his passion and his life. So he can really give a great answer related to music and producing. He is so cool 👍🏻
So true!
It made me so happy that they finally asked the right questions. Hint: Suga is very engaged.

They've done 99999 US Interviews yet this one feels like it's their first official US interview because it looked like the boys felt as if the world is finally interested in knowing more things deeper about them rather than just who their celebrity crushes are.
That's what people said when this interview recorded..
Also they were able to answer in Korean so it gave them a chance to actually talk aside from random bits of English and namjoon saying everything for them
Muscle Tokki indeed this was not about just random things which don’t matter, loved it.

So true! The only interviews other than this that actually focused more in important topics are the ones by Zach Sang and Liam.

Bts and Grammy goes well together.
Now, *this* *is* *an* *interview* .
This interview did justice to BTS
Wonderful respectful interview. None of that fangirly scandaly gossipy garbage. Suga was into it, that's how you know it's a good interview. Legit treated like musicians and not show ponies put up by their company. Love how almost each member answered a question. Love RM chose to say Mr bang with original pronounciation. Thank you Grammy's.
👌👌
I agree these were actually real and good questions
They all answered the questions
smooth like a like a snakeu the difference is here they're actually being respected as artists
This is by far my favorite interview. Pure quality and insightful questions, no superficial bs. Love it
"Grammy?"- Yoongi

.......Still BTS
Since the beginning... "MUSIC & ARTIST FOR HEALING". How many times have we seen this on every BTS MV? It has been the reason since the beginning.
I can't agree more, this is so beautiful 💜
You know its a good interview when Yoongi speak a lot , he breathes and lives through music and you can see how passionate he is about it , people out here are talking about looks but Yoongi is really a true artist and music is everything to him and he said a lot of inspirational things during the full interview . I hope they will release the other parts soon .
Yes. The literally only interview Yoongi talked much and it was worth.
Imane Ben
Really?
You know it's a great interview when yoongi decides to answer and explain everything. Thank you so much grammys for this amazing interview!
I know! He usually remains quiet for the silly/shallow ones but is always the first to respond to things related to their music or their themes.
I'm so happy about how good these questions are, I'm also really grateful that you let all members talk and in their language, I wanted to hear Yoongi, Hoseok and the others talk so much, cause I know how bad they wanna express themselves, even our cute lil Kookie said it, but if I'm happier for Hoseok and Suga is because I know how bad they wanna talk but also how mad they are about not knowing english, cause Taehyung, Jimin, Jin and JungKook talks the more even if its in a broken english, not talking about Namjoon, I think we all can agree that his english is excellent lmao
But I'm still really happy for all of them, cause I also sometimes don't know or forget how we say something in english (I actually learned this language by watching BTS 😂😂)
Wow I thought English was your first language until I read the end of your comment, your doing very good😊👏🏻
@Halima Grant
Oh, thank you, you're doing great too~ 😍😚❤💜💋😂

Thank you lmao, and no its not my first language, its actually my third, even if in middle school I was better in japanese (because of animes) then english.
I'm Algerian, so my first language is Arabic, my second is French and my third is English, I also choose Spanish in high school but since I don't really use it, I began to forgot all what I've already learned 😭😂
And I wanted to learn japanese since middle school, and now I wanna also know korean and chinese x"D
I'm actually just talking, I wanna do it but I just want it when in school to not do my homework...etc 😂😂
Can y'all give me some motivation please ?? I'm entering college in one month and I'm like the laziest person on earth 😂😂
Sorry, I talked too much 😥😅😂😂
wow, you're so great.
Give them a Grammy already. The boys are legends.
Chiara B the chances of them winning a grammy are slim, they will probably get invited to boost tv ratings from armies tho.
My name is Aminé I know 😪 the chances are really low even though they’re really talented

this is an excellent interviewer. did his research and was very interested in these gentlemen’s music, history and career. I’ve noticed many western interviews of this group aren’t very thorough and serious. and you can see them actually engaging in the interview rather than just sitting there. this is very well done

this is the grammys. its all about the music. cant really compare this to the 'normal' interviews bts and any other celebrities do for like 5 minutes. there are a few good intrviewers like zach sang and elvis duran for example who are all about the music, but grammys are all about the music too.
I like how the armys that attended were mostly calm and not screaming or shouting, thank you for those mature armys!
I know! Unlike to the audiences in Ellen, they were very mature. They did cheer when jimin and V spoke, but not so much so that you couldn't hear their voices.
They knew when to stop.
The expensive tickets probably made them a bit silent
Nondescript they were $25
They were ask not to make unnecessary noises. They actually sang happy birthday to Namjoon, I think, either at the start or ending of the interview.

Thank you!
fi0rella how do I download it
Exactly. This is not enough. We want more
Isabel Diaz The full interview you mean? It's not available yet, reason I was asking them to please upload it for everyone to watch. There were reporters during the interview. There'a at least a Billboard and an MTV report about it, but no footage, just transcripts of what they said.
I was wondering if this was the full interview as well since I thought it was kind of short, but I gathered from the initial transcripts from the fans who were there that I’d read so far had pretty much the same questions and answers thought it seemed like a lot more content lol, and on the Grammy Museum twitter page the tweet to this video says “watch the full conversation” and a link to this video so this must be the full interview sigh I think we were all hoping for more but I’m still content that the boys got this wonderful opportunity and hope it reaches a lot of people
Other interviewers should learn from this
Grammy thank you for showing the haters that our boys are recognised for their music and you are curious about it rather than their Hollywood crush
Yoongi was in heaven, I can sense it
or bighit, since apparently they had a list of questions they were allowed to ask lol
@@mann7298 seriously?

YAS. FINALLY AN INTERVIEW I CAN BE SATISFIED WITH.
Bts got me hooked after blood sweat and tears and since then I've never looked back. Binge watching anything and everything related to Bts
Also the interview was great.. I feel proud that they have come so far from where they started..
Those that dont listen to them are truly missing out!
I totally agree with learning together with the boys. It’s like a continuous process for both us and them and that is what struck me the most too, having someone with you while going through these things. It’s amazing really how they can truly speak to your heart.
This is a beautiful comment I completely agree with :) thank you
Neetu_ 13 it’s called peer support!

Not only are they amazing musicians who are bringing people all over the world closer together with their art, but they’re amazing people as well!
this is so great.
un white washed interview
good questions
armys were quiet and
respectful
they didn't ask about celeb crushes
our boys are gonna win a Grammy one day, let's get it army!
Edit: omg thank you for the likes 😭😭
If someone would have asked about celebrity crushes at the GRAMMY museum I would've officially given up on humanity
Yet I wish their answers to the more personal, intimate questions were less generic and reserved. I know fans won't like this, but you gotta see they still don't have the freedom to speak about things like fights, discussions, disagreements or even complaints about their job, and, sadly, I don't think they ever will.
Facts
ikr. I'm enjoyed this Interview very much.
Ikr
yes. YES. _this_ is the type of interview that bts deserves. an interview where there are _all_ allowed to communicate directly how they feel about the questions being asked. an interview where they don’t have to feel uncomfortable with the pressure of communicating in english when they are still in the process of learning (excluding namjoon
stuti Like other interviews have to be like,
"Do you guys have girlfriends?"
I'm like BOI GIVE US SOMETHING ELSE MORE SERIOUS
Yoongi talking in Korean in this interview gives me liFE
I really love the way Min Yoongi handles himself; he has such a professional and genuineness about him when he talks about music and that makes me want to learn from him!
So proud of Bangtan......
I like how audience acknowledged when V spoke up. It's rare for him and jk to speak up in interviews. Boost their confidence thanks!
and also jimin
Yh i love hearing taekook speak 😍❤ they're just so cute
It honestly made me smile the way the audience reacted to Taehyung and Jimin . I truly enjoyed this interview
Yeah the whole maknae line actually
Nothing better than hearing Yoongi talk about his music ❣️❣️ ❣️This was probably their best interview yet. I appreciate the insightful questions so they could give meaningful responses. Thank you!
Look at them sitting like a legend ❤️ they deserve this loves and attention
Taesticles hey queen
Came for your comment.....stayed for your username.
It's......it's...... its beautiful...
Sweetie I love you lol _you're_ a legend ❤️
Your user name! 😂❤️
Taesticles they should sit on the throne im not kidding
It’s nice to finally see them being appreciated as actual artists where they get to talk about their music and not just them being some kind of novelty. And to think the grammy museum are the ones giving them this platform to speak out is mindblowing
Also stream idol lets keep her on hot100
GUYS BUY NAMJOONS MIXTAPE ‘MONO’ that drops on 23/10 !!!
This was the most professional interview I’ve seen them have and I need more like this
When Jungkook answered you can tell in his voice how important this responsibility they've decided to take is for them. He's the youngest and it can't be easy to know and being told daily that your music makes the lives of so many much happier and bearable and that it is in your power to keep doing so. I admire them for keep going every day and trying their hardest to keep their sincerity under so much pressure.
Your very smart any I love kookie so i watched for it
Dude no other interview I’ve seen with bts has been even half as good as this one. He’s actually asking really good questions instead of “who are you gonna collab with next”. I’m really happy about this, it’s what bts deserves
Yes, cause it was focused on them as artists, rather than them as the "trendy kpop group that everyone's talking about"
I've always been curious about their process of song writing, especially since I don't have much knowledge about the process in general.
Preach
I feel the same.
Anais Persephone BTS IS "THE" Revolution.
AYEEEE SO TRUE
" You have a remarkable relationship with your fans" *Jimin looked at the audience/fans* _MY HEART_ :')
I noticed it too. He is soo adorable, well all of them are 💜💜💜
Me too noticed that...his smile😍
This interview was amazing. The guy did an amazing job, even took the time to do his research. Didn't ask them "1st day of school" questions like "What's your favorite food".... Easily could search up that question (ik cause i did lmao)
“Five years since debut.
Little guys full of dreams but nothing else
Now have so much more.
We used to only dream of our dreams
But now we are the dreams of others.
Life is a repetition of choices and regrets.
I am scared. We are scared.
We dreamt of flying high,
But up here is so cold
I gasp for breath.
The more light shines on us,
The more shadow there is.
What a relief that there are seven of us.
What a relief that we have each other.”
- Min Yoongi
These words... Breathtaking. Please, can you remind me where Yoongi said that?
Nyme Run BTS, episode 56! All of them wrote lovely poems! ☺️
What a beautiful poem of suga's
Beautiful beautiful words 😥😥😥
I'm so glad u said it all their poems reminded me of this interview.
Thank you so much for an amazing interview! Interviewer was great, he did his research and asked great questions!
You won't regret it 💜
Exactly, very well put 💜
We should give Mr. Scott flowers. What a great interview, really.
And chocolates, and maybe even some BTS merch
Thank you, Mr. Goldman and the Grammy Museum for having BTS on this wonderful stage and asking them such thoughtful questions about their music, their process, and their relationship with fans. It is not often we see these talented young men have the opportunity to share these thoughts, especially here in the State where they are still perceived to be "just a boy band". I hope this clip (and perhaps more clips to come) help US viewers see just how meaningful and genuine these young artists are.
Yess
Agree
if i was an english teacher i would give u an A+ sis, good job
This is the by far the best interview they have ever done. This shows that they are now recognized as artists and their hard work is what got them here. Truly amazing.
And I love the fact that bts’ has proved to Kpop music industry that superiority isn’t defined by seniority.
May M thank you, they are very humble and kind people.
I'm so happy that they could speak comfortably in Korean and the questions were good, best interview ever!
Rai liam says hi
I wish more interviews they had were this insightful and oriented around their MUSIC, because that is after all their life and you can tell a lot of them are most passionate when talking about their music. And having the in ears for translation and allowing them to speak in Korean, ugh amazing loved this
Finally questions that actually are about music and not their dating life 🙌
Alex Knight He’s the executive director of the Grammy museum, so naturally the music is the only thing that really matters to him.
I'm so glad that they asked more in depth questions. I get so tired hearing the same "What's your favorite American food" and "What's your favorite hair color" and questions that other interviewers ask. Our boys are so passionate about their work and we never get to hear about that when interviewers ask such shallow questions.
Tashimi Yesss exactlyy
Well... i've not come across artists who love their fans as much as BTS, except Siti Nurhalizah from Malaysia. They appreciate their fans so much that they dont care to act like stars or behave like gods when they meet fans. When they meet fans, they interact like old friends. Their love for fans is genuine. They do things to satisfy fans and make them happy. Siti's fans say they dont get tired loving her.
Siti nurhalizah?
Cinta ku bukan di atas kertas~
Def. check Zach Sang! It's soo good.
@@KellyLynn1801 agree I've seen quite a few crappy/ very silly Korean interviews and well. This Grammy interview was great. Hope to see the rest
suga is the best producer that i have ever seen
his passion on music is beyond description
I see no idols here, I see musicians that wanted to send a message and they finally could because they didn't have to act in a certain way, but act as themselves... Love their music!! And of course, I purple them 💜
Awww tae is the sweetest. He never forget to say that we army's give their wings ohhh I'm emo..
I agree BTS is the only kpop I listen to
You're right.
BTS need more deep interview like this and hope people can more recognized BTS's musical talent.
ISell3DollaChains they will win a Grammy mark my words
THis will happen
@@unicekeepgoing6727 Suga said he wants a Grammy, and they will one day get the Grammy!!
very descriptive
and i love it omg im waiting for the moment
I hope Bighit submits the application this year!
This is why I pity the people that only look on the outside or go with what the majority say, their missing out on not only some amazing talent but an amazing human being who is constantly working and searching for a better version of themselves while inspiring others to do the same.
so true :')
DEF! And KPop groups who carelessly make BTS as a reference for a success but fails to put it into context regarding how BTS is diff from its very beginning and the diff process they've been through compared to other groups.
This is by far the best interview they ever had. THANK YOU GRAMMY
Now THIS is an interview. Thank you for focusing on what they do rather than keep saying how "crazy" their fans are. They deserve to be recognized for their hard work and what they're trying to say us through their music.
Truth
so true😭😭😭
Yes thank you
@@Kitanna98 your right but at the same token some BTS fans are crazy, micromanaging, sexualizing and the list goes on.
I loved this interview no collaborations, no your favorite actress and that other
bullcrap BTS are amazing when it comes to there music and I happy to finally see a interview deep like this
hobiwannakookie _ i feel you💜
hobiwannakookie _ eugh me too! Tbh I always find the past american interviews kind of cringey because the questions were not that good and mature if u get what I mean 😂
Exactly that is what I wanted too. Something more serious cuz they deserve this.
👏🏻
This is the most professional interview of BTS so far. Respect

KilljoyTrashid Omg I relate to this sm :(
"BTS isn't just a group to me, it's a weird relationship"
I can relate to your words completely.
To me, they're like long lost friends you haven't met in a while. You know, friends that went abroad and didn't end up coming back, but you're still close to them. It sounds stupid but hey, can't help it :P
And I agree with what you said about them being a big part of your life. They're no longer a group for me or just some random music that I listen to cheer myself up, they're much more than that. Every day I wake up and think about them. If it had not been them, I would have not been a healthy person, mentally. They came into my life when I wasn't in the best phase.
And also, what you said about being happy. I'm more happy as a person too, I laugh more (how can you not laugh at these silly dorks!Hahaha)
But sometimes I wonder, what is this fallacy that we're connected to these boys. We find more solace in the virtual world than in the real world. And we do know that ultimately we have to live in the world, do what we're supposed to do, but we don't feel like because unlike these boys, the world doesn't give you a feeling of being home, the comfort and the idea that you're special and capable and perfectly okay in your own skin (love yourself hahaha)
That'll be enough , I guess
I've written a lot
that's totally relatable.
I can relate to this so much
Same me too..I try stand to the other group but it can't..bts music/group/company touch my heart its so hard to remove them from my life
this looks like a formal test just before qualifying for the grammys..the serious tone of this interview and esp the silence of the audience.
This discussion was fantastic. Thank you!
Poppy th-cam.com/video/avEd6HOj6Sk/w-d-xo.html
I'M SO PROUD OF ARMY FOR BEING SO QUIET AND POLITE!
well this interview may have only been 6 mins and 5 questions long, but it was already more insightful than numerous other interviews they have been thrown into. thank you Goldman sir, and yes to objective resolution of disagreements-this is something everyone should learn
p.s. will the full interview be released? :) we can't get enough
The official one is longer they just haven't released the full interview yet :)
Sorry just saw your edit haha but I agree with everything you said too!
yeah it seems like all the interviewers ask are “what’s your favorite American food” and “who do you wanna collab with”
@@kat-gz5ki - Yes, exactly!, or "Do any of you have girlfriends?". Those kind of irrelevant questions couldn't be cringey enough, my God!
Yes! Waiting for the full length interview
It's be going to be amazing, I bet!
Well done!!

honestly being an Army i had learned a lot from them through their music.
Please do give them a chance and check out their songs
My personal favourite tracks:
1.Silver Spoon
2. Spring Day
3. Outro:Tear
4. Paradise
5. Love Myself
7. The Truth Untold
8. Tomorrow
i'm so happy to have them in my life, they're such down to earth guys, they literally started from the bottom and it's so amazing to be on this road with them watching them grow and make us proud, i've been to some music fandoms before but i've never experienced something like this, there's only one thing bigger than our devotion to bts and that is bts' dedication to their art, i feel like i could talk about every little detail in their music forever
i'm russian and i grew up listening to songs in english cause popular music here is utter shite but falling in love with songs in korean turned out to be an experience, bts really broadened my perspective on many things, i'm rooting for everything they represent right now in the world
Here in lies the "obsession" if you must call it that, we fans have with them. There's always a teaching moment. a moment of sincerity that gives you that ah ha! moment. They are so young but so mature at the same time. In this toxic world of me, me, me, it's very refreshing to see BTS consider the consequence of the impact their music and actions have on their fans.
So true
Teaching moment, yes!
it's rare to see suga very engaged in an interview in US. this is a great interview, they asked the right questions.
