Thank you for talking about all of these issues everyone you mentioned I deal with I'm so lost .I absolutely get anxiety attacks over papers. I went back to college at 43 and I'm having the hardest time I can't get anyone to help me in the areas I need help I don't know where to start and very little direction. I know I should know how to wrote essays but when I went to school it was so different. I am at the library trying to get help with essays more than I'm home and it hasn't got any easier. Thank you for your videos. Truly thank you, Aliccia

Yes, there is a class in college that teaches you how to do research, how to find academic articles, how to read academic articles, how to cite the articles you do find, etc. It's called Research Writing. In some colleges/universities, it's called WR 123 or WR 223.

Yes… I’m surprised that this video mini-series is so popular - there must be a need (or at least an interest). Having completed well over 100 graduate level credits, I have found “research” substantially addressed from Community College on, both within classes as well as in i
freestanding classes… and let’s not forget our invaluable Reference Librarians! 🧐

I’ve heard about it too. I think that universities in my country call it Research Methodology, but I didn’t have any such course during my Bachelor’s. I really wish I had something like that too.

Thank you so much for making this. I've never actually had someone teach me how to do these stuff in all my years and this video really helped ease my fear of writing papers.

So happy you are addressing research! I'm taking an intro to social work research class this semester and I know your tips will make my life sooo much easier. I'm guilty of going down rabbit holes!!

Yes! This has been a topic that's been on my mind for awhile now. I have so many students requesting it because it's the fork in the road that holds up many students

I like the explanation of brain-currency. I do my resource vetting at night when I'm trying to burn off all that extra currency. When I find good stuff, I save the reading portion for the morning.

Thanks for the wonderful info and tips...side note though, your video title is grammatically flawed... The last word "students" should be replaced with the singular form, "student".

Lol, thanks for pointing that out. I understand that it shouldn't be students. Simple mistake. Thanks!

You put efforts on bla bla talking, instead of getting to the point. For example till period 7:00 ...No point to grasp!
