I’m setting up vacon 20. It is a 3hp motor for a fan. I have the line and load installed. I’m adding a start and stop button by the drive to control off and on. The stop button is NC and the start button is normally open. I took a wire from 24v to stop terminal and from stop opposite side to start button. I used another wire from normally open back to drive on start forward. Is this correct way to wire these? Need to set up ramp up start also. Let me know if stop/ start is wired correct and if landed on correct terminals. Thanks. Will have to look into programming

Hi there! somebody made a reset and now I have "CER" and "CM" LEDs activated. I did restored the PROFIBUS DP address and slaves are back but on Mimic they (slaves) appear with different colors. I did compared with another LINKS modules and found following differences: on menu IND ETHERNET > IP settings > DHCP disabled. And on menu AS-i line >Line status > Protected is selected. On the other LINK which was reset I have: IND ETHERNET > IP settings > DHCP --MAC address. And on menu AS-i line >Line status > Protected --is deselected. Do you have some comments for help?

HI There. What is your IP addresses on all of your units? Also, are you able to connect to TIA portal?

I mean, everything start with 1 slave problem. Then a collegue try to make a reset but he seems to RESET to factory condition and then the whole daisy chain (2 daisy chains) where out of service.
I noted PROFIBUS DP address was in "000" and I change as the other 2 LINKS ( with PROFIBUS DP address "022" on them) and operation was restored, but stil have those LEDs activated.
Anyway, I just was wondering if need re configure something with a external software or maybe I could do something by myself. Thanks anyway!

@@arrrnoldo you need tia portal to fix this. All your slaves have been recorded in cpu and saved in cpu, so if you have reset the slaves, you need to connect laptop to check what address is saved in cpu and make sure all slaves match. So yes you need laptop with tia software to fix this. Also is your as-I units could possible have c-plus memory inserted, that could have old set up saved in these, check for that

@@IGSElectronics ...mmm...nop, I don´t see any memory inserted. Only slot for C-PLUG. Do you mean S7 software?...well, anyway, I don´t neither of them. Here on board Internet access is limited and so my english.
Many thanks anyway. I like your videos and I will keep watching them. AH, just a comment in some of your videos the imge is very blurry...I think that is the word. Can not see well how you navigate the menues. Ok. TKS. Bye!!

@@arrrnoldo yeah bud to fix this you will need Siemens software. When you watch the videos make sure the quality in settings are in full HD or 4k, that should stop the blurry problem.
