7 Villages Car Festival Incredible! Madurai

In Madurai District one 7 Villages Car Festival is celebrated jointly by seven villages people during first week of January which is incredible and a rare kind of event.The spirit of seven village people can not be explained in words. Please see how they celebrates this event.The said seven villages are: 1.Vannivelampatti 2.Thevankurichi 3.Chathirapatti 4.Kilankulam 5.Kadaner 6.V.Ammapatti 7.T.Kallupatti. The said seven villagers are consructing their village car with their own village deity and carrying the car with the man power of their villagers. The cars are shouldering and moving through the farm lands and reaches the junction point village T.Kallupatti. In the junction point village they celebrate the festival with participation of not less than lakh of people.After the festival is over the villagers return back to their village by carrying the car . yes, this 7 villages are , Ammapatti, Devanankuruchi,t.kallupatti,vannivelampatti, kadaneri,kilngulam(patipatti), and K.chatrapatti., it comes 2 years once , by november month.Even no caste issues, and no Problems are here. because our 7 mothers are here. and this Ratham is called " Chapparam"
