In your tutorial guide (which is awesome) you have zip files 1-14 but in the file downloaded from above there is an additional 3 files. 15 - Visual-C..., My ball images...and popper launch scripts.... Do i need to install them in any certain way? Thanks for great video
Thank you. Everything works great. I only use the desktop variant with two monitors and everything works perfectly. Even when I turned on the Star Track POV it was perfect. I didn't have to adjust the POV. I left that one. I had an error during the installation of Flex DMD (for you, the first two options are ticked green, and the last two are red, and for me the first one is red, and all the others are green). But when I turned it on everything works, including b2s and DMD and pinball of course. I've only been playing VP for a month and managed to bug it and break it last night after weeks and weeks of learning and setting it up, and now I've set it up again from scratch. Now I don't touch anything anymore, nor will I update anymore or anything. I wasted more time setting this up than I did playing. But it was worth it :)
This is a master class! You just covered months/years worth of information into a video under 2 hours. Especially helpful was the section at the beginning explaining all the terms. I have seen a lot of those terms floating around and still had no idea what some of them meant! Thanks so much
Thank you so much! Loaded weapon for these fantastic videos I have followed. Your full install video as well as your small videos like this to the t. I know it's taking a lot of effort to put this all together and fantastic information for future pinballers coming to the hobby.
Epic... absolutely epic. Haven't touched the cabinet files in about 2 years. Thought I had a solid weekend ahead of me, and then some, to get back up to speed with the community. Really appreciate this video and the links!
Man thank you so much for this video. As someone who has been struggling to get a virtual pinball system running for a while now with moderate success, I am especially appreciative of everything you put in this video. All the details are really useful. So many times I'll ask a question and it's answered with half of what I need to know in order to fix my problem. This is the COMPLETE guide!!!! You just fixed every problem I have ever had in one short video. Thank you so much!!!!
thank you, and others, for your/their work, that's a lot of effort and love for pinball...unfortunately, installing and tweaking all of this is a lot of work for me (many ways to screw something up) who wants to play it casually from time to time so maybe someone will one day put all this in one big install file for all the noobs (like me)
I probably did something wrong, but you had alot more files in the vpinmame 7zip folder to copy over than I did in mine. As expected it didnt work for me.
Thanks for the incredible guide. I love where you give credit, where credit is due. Terry Red is a legend in the virtual pinball world. Terry Red might not take to lightly you saying, Visual Pinball is wayyyyy better than Future Pinball. Dems is fighting words. hahahaha. Grabs popcorn waits for the Terry Red response video. TH-cam pinball drama is about to heat up and get real. hahahahh jokes aside. Thanks so much.
FP has great options for visuals but the program is 20 years old and out of development. Takes to long to load tables and while they are great to look at and show people they will never play as good as VPX and it just keeps getting better and updated every day. The first table I ever created was Legend of Zelda in FP. It is a great app for beginners.
Thank you for this video Rudy. I’m finishing up my retro arcade now and next is my virtual pinball cab. This is the best setup video that I have found yet!
I got a cabinet a few months ago and all the stuff linked to it might seem daunting at first , but once you get used to everything Pinup Popper is as much a hobby as playing the pinball.
Exactly what I waited for, now I will leave my one year old VPX comfort zone and start over with the awesome good new stuff 🤗 Couldn't thank you enough Rudy! Thanks for your work!
I have a quest 2 and I have been meaning to get time to test it out. I had back surgery 2 weeks ago and just now getting around good so I might test it out soon. :)
What an absolutely excellent tutorial, well thought out and covering all aspect's of a fresh setup.Thank you very much, for the time and effort, that it took to put this together...... Very much appreciated.
This is fantastic and well timed as well for me as i just finished building my cabinet. Is there going to be anymore videos on this? Like Installing Future Pinball with TerryReds Tables? And what about PInball FX 2 and 3? Will there be tutorials on setup for that as i havent seen any so far
This installs FP and bam but you will need to update bam and use Terry's config files. FX2 and 3 are all on nailbusters website and you just install them on steam. I might do a video to help set it up. I will see how this video does first. Thanks for the comment
Thanks for the tutorial, I thought this video was outdated. Guess I was wrong. Thanks again for helping us beginners, oh and one more thing. Is the gottlieb rom unavailable? Cause I can't find any of its roms.
WOW! I can`t thank you enough for this excellent tutorial. I had an old 3 screen set up a couple of years ago just as the pup packs were being introduced and my system never seemed to work properly or it would judder all the time. I followed this tutorial and got everything running from a brand new windows 11 install. (I had a Couple of issues with DMD alignment and both dmds displaying sometimes) but managed to work out how to sort it out. This has got me back into playing all the new updated tables again.. Thank-You Rudy
Rudy - I’m starting to follow this video and it’s awesome !! are the files that you include in this video up to date or do I need to get anything new - Also , with this video concerning baller installer you had used ? Should I use the most updated one listed on Facebook Thanks again
If you are updating then yes these are new files. If you are starting fresh then no need for all of these. Though the video has a lot of helpful information. Follow the 2024 pinball video to install the latest baller installer with built in updater
In the PC Specs section, when you say 16GB of memory, are you referring to RAM or VRAM (Graphics Card Memory)? I assume RAM since the 1050 card you recommend only has 2GB of VRAM, but wanted to be sure. Thanks for all you do for the community. Its especially helpful to newcomers like myself!
Thank you! I’m hoping to buy a gaming CPU and wade into virtual pinball through my At Games machine this year. Trying to learn as much as I can and so thank you for this thorough tutorial!!
Didn't work for me 2 hours of following along. Probably because I was setting up for single monitor and the detailed steps did not translate 1:1. Thank you though, maybe I'll try again someday.
Thanks for this amazing tutorial Got everything running smoothly Except when using pinup popper balls will occasionally get stuck on play field Doesn’t happen when I launch from vpx Any ideas And thank you
Thank you for this great video. I already have got my system up and running, but I have cold feet for the 64 update. This video is full with helpful tips.
Hello just wanted to say thanks for such thorough videos that really helps. Do you have a video on how to setup the remote part of popper on how to install from your laptop to your cab. If so please let me know I think this would be very helpful. Thanks again veryuch appreciated 👍
Fantastic video!!! Thank you for all the time spent putting it together. Do you sell loaded Vpin drives for Windows11 with 3 screen set up? I’m just not computer savvy, i just like playing the games. Finding all the tables still looks like a lot of time. Thanks again for all your hard work! And if you do sell loaded drives i would be very much interested. Thanks Bryant
No I don't sale or support any kind of loaded drives as it takes 100s of hrs to make 1 table. The least people can do is download it from the authors and give a like and comment. But what I can do is I hold remote vpin classes on Saturdays. 2hrs $100 I can do your baller install and update and show you how to add tables and media and answer any questions you may have. Can also join the Facebook group and my discord for better support.
I work 6:30a to 7p F,S,SN. I guess i will try and follow that awesome video. I’m hoping to get to the point where i can play an old table i use to play back when i was a kid. It was at the local Round Table pizza place. They had a NFL N.Y. JETS pinball table and a Creature from the Black Lagoon table. Ok 👍 thank you for the video and the quick response to my questions. Thanks, Bryant
Thank you for this. I have an AtGames pinball and PC connected that I play FX on. I’ve tried VPX on pinup popper twice and gave up. It was overwhelming and didn’t want to invest hours and hours. I may try your video and give it a try for a 3rd time. It seems worth it. Thanks for this! 👍🏻🍻
Sweet! Thank you. The next problem I have. I've tried loading ST:TNG. And I don't get a Backglass or FullDMD like you do. Just the playfield. @@rudysarcade
@patrickfreeman6778 you have to download the backglass with full dmd like I showed in the video then the table and backglass name needs to be named exactly the same.
Yay! I had finally figured it out on my own. The names weren't matching. But I caught on and everything works great now! Thanks for all your help!@@rudysarcade
Thank you! I am so far ahead now from where I was. Thanks to you I have a working cabinet. When I installed police force in GL, the back glass and the dmd have the annoying windows task bar at the bottom. I’m working on that but I’m sure it’s something I missed.
Hi Rudy, thank you so much for your nice instruction video. I realy learnd a lot of it. - I would say, it‘s the best video I‘ve seen to get a punch of informations about Pinball Popper. One Question: What software did you use to get all three screens together? To access my Pinball PC, I‘m using TightVNC, but it‘s slow and the screen resolution don‘t fit to show all screens together.
Tried it out, but streaming means only to some plattforms. - Searching a tool to stream to my iMac or PC which shows all three monitors together, or choseable with shortkeys. - Using Spacedesk at the moment, but changing the resolution is only possible with 25pct tasks.
I wish i saw this video before i started. my setup is a mess and I only got 2 or 3 tables actually running and couldn't get the dmd running on another screen. seems i missed a lot of steps! . starting fresh now :) I'm just playing on pc but i have 2 main screens and a 7" tablet. i want the dmd on the tablet screen and I have one screen vertical for the table itself, which me luck.
@@rudysarcade did that!. have a few tables up and running how want them now in a 3 screen setup (3rd screen is a 7" tablet for the dmd).. slowly learning. Loving it. The Stranger Things one is awesome. That's just one, there a re so many amazing creations there! Have an issue with TWD though, randomly after a ball lost it will just totally lags, like the dmd will go to 1 fps and takes forever to release a new ball. Not sure if I missed something? Maybe wrong version or something? Have updated VPX64 to 10.8
ahh that probabaly explains it I have been running it on 64bit. thanks! I'm a .Net dev.. I'm considering looking into building some sort of table installer program. Where you could choose PupPack options etc, and it would automatically put all the files in the right place. You would just have to tell it where the various files you have downloaded are and which emu to launch with. Just discovered all this a week or so ago an I'm hooked! I have hardly even played them, just enjoying setting them up.
@DanielMitchellPunkologist there is really nothing to do. Put the puppack in the folder and click what bat file you want. Then play the table. No need for another program. Puppacks and tables only go in 1 place
Hi Rudy, on the third folder 3-Plugins64 With DirectOutput64, there is an extra folder for DirectOutput64, I am assuming that this will be installed later ? Thanks for the directions, much appreciated.
Any idea why I have no DMD for LK? The backglass is correct and if I alt-tab I can see it has opened, but i cannot access it, or bring it to the front of any screen? Otherwise, this is great so far (have not tried popper or pup packs yet via your video, though have had pup pucks kinda working previously. Hopeflly using your video will help sort out the other little niggles that I have come up against.
Check your dmddevice.ini in the vpinmame folder. You can open it with notepad and remove the location numbers x and y and close and save it. It should put it on the playfield so you can drag and size it again
Hi there thanks for the tutorial. Everything work right except for one problem that I have. When you made this video you made it for people who have three screens. I just have one screen and as of right now because both the Playfield, the DMV, and the back glass is set up to be full screen. Now because of this whenever I start a game the play screen does complete full screen but it also covers the DMV and the back glass so what I'm basically asking is can you help me with this problem and show me a way to config this for one screen or just give me instructions on to do this. Thank you.
@mastermojo101 run setup again and when you set your screens make the backglass and dmd small and put them on the left and right side if you doing desktop
Hi Rudy.....if I wanted to change my screen layout,to use 3 screens (I'm currently running a 2 screen setup, play field and backglass) would I have to run the installer again?. Thanking you in advance.
No.. but you will need to run the popper screen configuration to set popper screens then run b2sscreenreidentifier to set b2s screens, then run vpx video settings on 10.7 and 10.8 to set those. And all dmd screens will need to be moved and sized to the new location
tried to update using the Pinup Dater 1.0 stand alone, but it's giving me a warning saying file in use\PinUpSystem\PinUpDisplayX.exe, Cannot continue. Close all programs and try again!! Any ideas.
Hi I have had a visual pinball ball machine existing for a very long time, downloaded software well before baller installer and could not update so I started over and I'm following your instructions but I have a pindmd3 and I can't get it to come up, and you don't go into any detail about it, am I missing something I did pick the right setup 2 monitors with real dad but it will not come up and the last ti.e I had it up and running. Just asking if you know what I am doing wrong. Thanks...
@gpd265 open the dmddevice.ini with notepad and enable pin2dmd3 . Then you might have to go in the vpinmame folder and look for the pin2dmd3 folder and get the plugins out of it and place in the vpinmame folder
Rudy, how do i get the dmd from a table without flexdmd like scarface? and why can i run many pup packs but terminator t2_l8 doesn't work? im following your guides! thanks a lot
Need to update everything including popper. Need to make sure all plugins and plugins64 with b2s is working. Make sure pinup is enabled in the dmddevice.ini make sure flexdmdui is setup and enabled
You can definitely watch this to learn alot of stuff but if you are starting fresh go to my 2024 video and grab the latest baller_installer and run it. It has a built-in updater and you won't have to do all my update files. Those or more for people already setup on an older build and don't want to start over.
can anyone offer some assistance.... followed the video - when I get to the star trek table it loads fine but no dmd. The space for the dmd is there on my second monitor but the actual DMD is no where to be found???? help where did I go wrong
Does the table play? If so try alt tab and see where the dmd is. If you did the ballerinstaller you should have set the dmd's location.. If you are new and starting fresh do the new 2024 install video with the latest baller_installer beta. It has everything built in and no need to manually update files anymore.
Hello, can you help me? I want to reinstall VPX from scratch because I messed something up during the last update. My question is what should I install and what should I not install from the provided files, and in what order should I proceed? I am only using two monitors, so I don't have a cabinet, and I just want to set up B2S, colored DMD, and nothing else. Please tell me what to install and in what order. Thank you very much.
Nobb question. Do I need to set my main monitor that will be used for the play field to portrait before I set everything up? Also really appreciate all the work that goes into these videos.
This tutorial really is second to none! I'm about 40 mins in, and i really appreciate how thorough you are. I'm just wondering, is all of this applicable to Visual Pinball VR as well? I'm just using a single monitor with an Oculus Rift. I've been fine with the VR Tables I've installed, but can't get pup enabled tables like TNA to work. I'm hoping a clean install and following this will help.
Now that I have this all setup and am able to start trying new tables I am having a problem getting some Future Pinball tables to work such as Star Wars Death Star Assault Galactic Edition. Looking into the install docs it says the minimum BAM version needed is 1.5.373. Baller Installer comes with 1.5.365. So I am thinking I will need to upgrade BAM to get this table to work? You don't happen to have a guide for this do you?
@dbillett1 if you did the latest baller installer ... Follow my pinball 2024 video.. It comes with PinUpDater which will update all your files for you.
could you please make a video on how to put the music (mp3s) in the game? I'm having issues with def leppard 1.3 table, I keep getting error "Bass music/sound Libary cannot load C:\Pinball\Visual Pinball\Music\Foolin.mp3(error 2: cant open file). It does it with all the mp3s in the list. I put the list of mp3s in the "C:Pinball\Visual Pinball\Music" (no sub folder) (pulling my hair out) lol
Ruddy ,I really need some help im following your instructions to the best of my ability and i cant get vpx x emulator to run table .I keep getting this error line 1323 active x cant create object, ultra dmd object.duplicate definition found function vol ball line 970 function vol ball line 991.
Hello and thank you very much for this tutorial. I just discovered virtual pinball machines because Costco is selling the Starwars one and thought it was pretty cool. Now this has opened my eyes to a whole new world. Question: I'm a bit at a loss on 54:40 when you say to drag the DMD and then resize it and I also cannot right click on it to save position. I cannot drag mine from the default position. What could be causing this? Thank you again!
Amazing tutorial, thank you. I'm about an hour through and have just played Star Trek for the first time. I've got a 2 screen setup on an ALP and I moved the dmd, saved it globally then played. The dmd has disappeared behind the animated backround (you have it on your top screen). Not sure what to do and would appreciate a nudge in the right direction.
Thank you so much for this awesome video! I now have a clear understanding on how to make things work! One thing though, I couldn't locate a color DMD file for the Next Generation. Could you provide some info for this please? Thanks.
@@rudysarcade Ah ok thank you. I actually didn't do that update. I did the complete baller beta bonanza install on 12/18/23 to a fresh Windows 10 system. Do I still need to do anything further after that install? Thanks.
Like how someone comments about to much going on seriously this guy's going thru step by step for all the not so tech people out there and using his own time... much appreciated learning curve
If you can play the table then the dmd is working. Maybe hit F1 make sure it's enabled.. Also make sure you are in window mode so the dmd is on top if you in desktop
Can you show how to setup for a single screen please. I would like the backglass to show but all I have is the dmd. Also my tables seem to [play over pup packs. Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks so much for the videos, awesome job!!!! I see you downloading the table, b2s and rom, but I missed where you downloaded and inserted the full dmd background video. I noticed when you opened STNG they are there, along with your colorized dmd but I must have missed you added??? Thank you so much for your helpful videos!!!
@@rudysarcade Thanks so much for the fast reply!!! Was there a section of the video where you show how to do that? BTW I used your "2024 VP never been easier" video and it was smooth as butter to install everything!!!!
@@rudysarcade that worked great. Is there a way remove and add a new images in pinup media manager of you want to use new/different images? Also when I add blank screen, then a full screen to my playfield (3) in media manager, my load screen is not full screen. Basically the load video is there, but blank at the bottom third of the screen. Have you ever seen that?
Sorry I'm new to this having a little problem though when I try to play 10.8 it's in desktop instead of cabinet I download your files and use them did I miss something in the video
open the editor then click preferences then video and on the left side make sure view mode is cabinet. if you on 10.7 samething except on the left side check use always FS backdrop
@@rudysarcade 10.7 is correct in cabinet mode everything looks good on there but when I do 10.8 and change the cabinet mode on the left side it put the image the other direction but still sideways on the screen
@michaelwhited5649 oh yea if you followed the video you will see that is natural because that table was saved in the old vp10 beta need to reset the table.
Hey Rudy excellent video. I started a fresh install on a new drive even though my old one is working great, but with the new install I randomly have the task bar show up over top of the B2S. Not sure why its.doing this but maybe you could help. It happens in popper and also if i launch vpx solo. Again its totally random when the task bar shows up. Thanks.
Again, thanks for this. For now on my bible for installing :-) As other mentioned (Facebook) please please add a parts for Pinscape, DOF (in my case for further using my working files from my one year old installation.I dont get it running :-/
Sorry I don't use that stuff. As for the filed just take the 32bit doff configuration files someone said 3 files but I don't know but you add them to the dof folder in the plugins64
@@rudysarcade thanks, that works. And another questions, as Im using desktop mode, all my loading videos in pinup popper are playing turned 90deg, like for cabinet mode.
I'm still running pinball emporium lol, I have little over 1700 tables all working perfectly, took me like 2 years to get to this point so been putting off switching over to pinup popper. Haven't updated to 3.6 or 10.8 or 64 bit yet but everything else works great. Def wish I knew someone to give me a hand as I don't wanna mess up all my many months of hard work
You don't play 1700 tables and the longer your in this hobby you learn not to just collect and use only what you play. It takes a good PC to play all the new stuff so if you have an older pc and old video card then I would wait till you get a new system. As for the setup you can only use the table, backglass, and roms. It will take a lot to get 1700 tables setup. I would make a new setup and pick your favorite 300 lol
@rudysarcade my favorites folder has 883 tables in it lol, I can't just pick 300. I play most of the tables I have, might have to get rid of some older tables, just love collecting them and tinkering 😁
So I was wondering if u can clarify something. It's a bit confusing cuz u kind of tackle altsounds and pup option setup at the same time and go back and forth between them. So after u download and put the pup folder where it needs to go, u mentioned pasting something in vpm alias. What are u pasting exactly and does that pertain to making altsound work or display option work?
Vpmalias is only for using a different file for a rom . Has nothing to do with altsound.. Altsound you just put in the altsound folder and when you run the table hit F1 and turn on altsound.
@rudysarcade if u would be so kind as to maybe get around to a scratch tutorial on setting up stranger things 4 pup table, that would be incredible! Lol since no videos of the table exist on TH-cam that aren't just demos.
@@rudysarcade copy. I was unable to find the corresponding tables for a few of them; but it was great that you included them in case I run across Updates in the future for vp10. I have had to become quite a copy and paster to make some things work :) very trial and error for sure but for the most part almost all the tables from 7.2 forward have worked pretty well without much fuss. It’s the dang PUPs that give me so much grief ;)
@thepacketnarc7634 there is really nothing to do for puppacks. You put it in the video folders then click the batch file that you want if it comes with options. If not just put it in the folder and play. If they don't play it's because something else is not updated or set right.
@@rudysarcade Yes correct; I was more speaking in terms of 'many' Pups having only a 3 screen mode or 'FullDMD' mode where you kind have to d1ck with it, set the form to back, bring the flexDMD forward and resize it to 'sort of look right'.. All in all it's straight forward but it isn't for the faint of heart to try and modify one that isn't set out of the box for 2 screen only.
Hi Rudy, just started with installation. At the step starting vpx i got an error "vcomp200.dll missing" after a shock second i could figure out that only a full installtion of visual c+ (?) was missing. Now all runs perfect. Again, thanks for your effort, step by step manual, tipps and your really smooth and slow explanations. Top notch!
Thank you and yes if go to the 2nd part going over future pinball and popper I have the full c+ update in my files download. Maybe I can add them to this one also.
This has 64bit directoutput included in the plugins64 folder you just need to set it up just like you did for 32bit directoutput. Sorry as I don't do dof I can't show you how to set it up plus everyone's setup is different.
@@rudysarcade gotcha. I think the setup is generally the same with the r3 installer, just the DOF config file is different. I’m doing fresh rebuild of 32 bit 10.7 setup. I’ll watch smaugs upgrade instructions maybe. I’m not sure where to put 32 bit version or if needed
@@Dustin.Orrick watch some newer videos. The new baller_installer comes with an auto updater now. It will keep all files updated for you. You won't need my files.
what would cause the backglass of all my tables to shift to the left ? I have fixed every one of them (one at a time) 3 times now. i have tried using the save global, but it messes all of them up.
@@rudysarcade i went in to (pinup popper config) then clicked (popper setup) (screen/theme) then (configure displays/locations) they were all correct. clicked save then went in to vpinball to check one and BG didnt move. am i doing it wrong? i really dont want to have to reset each one by hand. there is a lot lol

FP has great options for visuals but the program is 20 years old and out of development.
Also from me a BIG THANK YOU! Very good video to follow! Starting tonight 🎉
Exactly what I waited for, now I will leave my one year old VPX comfort zone and start over with the awesome good new stuff 🤗 Couldn't thank you enough Rudy! Thanks for your work!
Great guide! Now if we could have the same but for a VR setup :)
Thank you Rudy for all the hard work, this very much appreciated!
Thank you very much. This video was very helpful.
Thanks a lot. Very helpful video.
A big thank you for this awesome video and all the effort you've put in it. Fantastic!!

One of the best Virtual Pinball tutorials!! Well paced and makes things easier to understand, thanks !!
Good glad you enjoying playing again!
Rudy - I’m starting to follow this video and it’s awesome !! are the files that you include in this video up to date or do I need to get anything new -
Also , with this video concerning baller installer you had used ? Should I use the most updated one listed on Facebook
Thanks again
If you are updating then yes these are new files. If you are starting fresh then no need for all of these. Though the video has a lot of helpful information. Follow the 2024 pinball video to install the latest baller installer with built in updater
Thanks Rudy
In the PC Specs section, when you say 16GB of memory, are you referring to RAM or VRAM (Graphics Card Memory)?
I assume RAM since the 1050 card you recommend only has 2GB of VRAM, but wanted to be sure.
Thanks for all you do for the community. Its especially helpful to newcomers like myself!
Yes system memory
Thank you! I’m hoping to buy a gaming CPU and wade into virtual pinball through my At Games machine this year. Trying to learn as much as I can and so thank you for this thorough tutorial!!
Can't thank you enough, best video ever concise and in a perfect ordering. thank you, thank you, thank you!
Didn't work for me 2 hours of following along. Probably because I was setting up for single monitor and the detailed steps did not translate 1:1. Thank you though, maybe I'll try again someday.
Thanks for this amazing tutorial
Got everything running smoothly
Except when using pinup popper balls will occasionally get stuck on play field
Doesn’t happen when I launch from vpx
Any ideas

Thanks
Bryant
No I don't sale or support any kind of loaded drives as it takes 100s of hrs to make 1 table. The least people can do is download it from the authors and give a like and comment. But what I can do is I hold remote vpin classes on Saturdays. 2hrs $100 I can do your baller install and update and show you how to add tables and media and answer any questions you may have. Can also join the Facebook group and my discord for better support.
Thank you for the quick response. I work weekends do you offer classes on Tuesdays or Wednesdays?
@bmontano71 sorry mon thur I work 6am- 6pm
Thanks,

This is HELPFUL!! Thank you so much for making this video!
Let me know how it goes..
Thank you
Do you know how to create loading screens?
I have not tried but they have only already for pretty much every table. But I'm sure it couldn't be too hard.
When I open steps 4 and 5... I don't have NEAR the number of files you show in your video...
That's fine I update and try to reduce some that's not needed.
Sweet!
I’m working on that but I’m sure it’s something I missed.
right click on the taskbar on the main screen then go to options and turn it off for other screens.
I use OBS to.stream and record
Live Streaming sounds cool. - Thank you 😀
Tried it out, but streaming means only to some plattforms. - Searching a tool to stream to my iMac or PC which shows all three monitors together, or choseable with shortkeys. - Using Spacedesk at the moment, but changing the resolution is only possible with 25pct tasks.
@markusbrunner8991 you can check out my tiktok I live stream there plus a lot of videos.

If you are starting fresh watch my 2024 video and grab the latest baller_installer. Super easy and comes with a built in updater.
Have updated VPX64 to 10.8
@@Punkologist yea walking Dead must be played in 32bit
ahh that probabaly explains it I have been running it on 64bit.
Thank you so much, this really helped.

Any ideas.
No your system must already be updated and on 64bit. You need to have everything updated and working then you can add it and it will keep you updated
@gpd265 open the dmddevice.ini with notepad and enable pin2dmd3 . Then you might have to go in the vpinmame folder and look for the pin2dmd3 folder and get the plugins out of it and place in the vpinmame folder

Your buddy Digital Victory sent me your way. Can’t wait to learn about VP!

This is over complicated for a desktop user. Don't need pinup popper, pinup system etc to make most tables available to work.
You don't have to use the front-end but still good to install all the files. And this way you know everything works no guessing game.
@@rudysarcade ok. So that step with the vpm alias thing WAS something u need to do to finish making the pup pack work?
@joshmckinley2953 no that was cause I wanted 2 tables with the same rom to work 1 with backglass and 1 with puppack.
@rudysarcade if u would be so kind as to maybe get around to a scratch tutorial on setting up stranger things 4 pup table, that would be incredible! Lol since no videos of the table exist on TH-cam that aren't just demos.
@@joshmckinley2953 if you set your all your pup screens like in my video. All you do is put the puppack in the pupvideos table. And play the table
Hey Rudy great tutorial. Do you have the Table list for the ROMs you included in the batch ?
No it's only the updated ones. Not sure what roms changed.

Thank you and yes if go to the 2nd part going over future pinball and popper I have the full c+ update in my files download. Maybe I can add them to this one also.
Great! One question what is best way to add DOF after this?
This has 64bit directoutput included in the plugins64 folder you just need to set it up just like you did for 32bit directoutput. Sorry as I don't do dof I can't show you how to set it up plus everyone's setup is different.

@SectorZero6969 popper screens are just popper. Has nothing to do with vpx. You need to setup the b2s server screen locations
@@rudysarcade sorry im lost. Do you have a video on this?
@SectorZero6969 it's the b2s screenres identifier.. it's in this video also. I have a bunch of update videos and install videos they all cover it.
If I want to build a cabinet having a 43 inch layout, 4k, 120 hz, very good sound, what would the approximate cost be for all components to do this build?
Probably about 3k
Great Info well explained Thank you
