This was so useful...I’ve been interlocking for 8 months and I have such frizz i self installed my locs and was beginning to think i did something wrong with the level of frizz that’s going on!!
This is really helpful. I got my locs a few days ago and the frizz has already started. I'm glad i found your channel because I really didn't know much about interlocs like I did for other types.
She's right... its my first time going this long(under a year started last December) because I finally found a hairstylist/loctition i could trust.. and im just listening like ✔️✔️✔️ ive experienced everything you said basically in that order! Currently @ stage 2,3, & 4😅 budding, fizz, & shrinkage (i interlock also)
Listen Linda Listen... I know my starter locs aren’t locd hahaha I’m still going to call them locs 🤷🏽♀️ Thank you so much for your videos . It’s only been a month since I started my journey and these videos are soooo helpful
Thank you!!! My hair is frizzy AF . I'm transitioning from two strand week 6 and I kinda love it BUT also I'm a little embarrassed. Seeing beautiful hair like yours that's the same shape and size gives me hope 💜🙌🏾
Can u do a video on the size of interlocks after they form? An let us know what to expect with interlocks once it locks up. I know u have a life 😂😂 so whenever u get time 🤷🏾♂️ i heard ur lox can't be thick if u interlock just want your opinion. I'm 8 months in now 💪🏾 I started with interlocks an I'm going to continue interlocking 🤷🏾♂️
Excellent video 8 weeks and appreciate the detail information and look more forward and understand real clear now about what take place next in my adventure. Thanks a million.
Great video. I just started my journey 3 weeks ago with loc extensions and interlocking. What product do you use? And could you explain the budding process a bit more? My hair is swelling at the end of my real hair and the beginning of the loc extension but I don’t know if that’s budding or not.
Hello, thanks for the informative video. How long does it take to journey from interlocking through until you reach Stage 5? I guess it varies...how long was your transformation?
Tfs! I'm 10 months in @ stage 4. I've interlocked once, about 3 or 4 months into my journey. I would prefer to interlock but it's time consuming, I think.
For the love of all that is Holy...... Can you please tell me the difference between Budding and Bunching ???. I am 4 months interloc’d and there is not as much content for interloc’d folk...as there is for comb coils etc. The back of my hair seems to have been Colonized 🤣🤣🤣 and I have these big buds or bunches ( who knows 🥺). Don’t get me wrong....I AM LOVING MY SHORT BABIES ❤️❤️. But that being said, if there are any issues that I need to deal with b4 I get to far into the journey, I would rather deal with asap. Please help 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽....also if you have any interloc’d videos our there, let me know. Thank you for everything.... one of your 2.6 stubbies 😎😎😎
Just came across your video lol and I can definitely relate to the shrinkage/budding stage (current) lol and I dunno if my boyfriend can handle it lol it's a journey tho 🤣
Hello my queen im 7months locd I never thought about interlocking I'm a new subbie I love your locs they lay so pretty mines are everywhere I love it, I want to color so bad I've never dyed my hair at all when would u recommend me dyeing? I'm already budded hanging almost shoulder length
Yoooo! This frizz/shrinkage stage has me ready to take my son's hair down. It looks a messsssss! My goodness. Ok....imma be patient. But it looks a mess.
Im about to be in my 4th year and I feel like my locs look and are the same length as when I started. I know that they are growing but it just doesnt look like it to me. Pictures say otherwise. So I will say that the interlocking method seems to take away the length of the loc compared to palm rolling.
U can do daily massages I do twice a day drink plenty of water eat healthy and then babies gonna grow I used lemon and seasalt in the early months 2. Or 3 months in it locd faster I'm 7 months in almost shoulder length
Mines is 3 months old too and I just interlocked myself with a crochet needle and I had the same problem...so much frizz from my starter locs that was formed with the crochet method
The 5 Stages of interlocking
1. Starter Locs
2. Budding
3. Frizz/Shrinkage
4. Loc Maturity
5. Actual Matured Loc😍
Thank you so much.... Your brows are everything. Your hair is beautiful

Plz go back to red 😍 I don’t know why but whether it’s locs, lipstick, dress or heels, red just looks attractive on women.
