Palace and Newcastle next, should at least try and get a win and a draw out these two games and hopefully a win against Ipswich, otherwise it's really going to get tough 🙄

There's something drastically wrong with pre season when the club takes one point from the first 5 games two seasons in a row? Everton badly need to start getting points on the board pretty quickly because December is a nightmare when we play 5 of the "top six" teams.
We are desperate to win at home...and now we are off the blocks with an away draw . This team has promise, and will be better at full strength. Fans just need to stand by them and give them heart. I predict 4 points from the next 3 games....and eventually we will string a run of wins together ...
I know a lot of ppl find my optimism annoying, but all I see is an Everton that can score goals. If we can get our back 4 back, this team give anyone a game and, in the meantime, at least they're fun to watch!

Lindstrom was missing way too much, I think any manager would have taken him off. This game is not a must win, we have a shallow team and we are missing key players. When we get the defence sorted we will be in a better place.
The Dyche effect happened again the 1st half went perfectly well outside of the chance they got where Pickford was almost caught off guard and the referee making terrible decisions. 2nd half was good until the substitutions that was the moment we lost the 2 points Lindstrom shouldn't of been taken off for Harrison because Harrison obviously wouldn't of made a difference but it was taking off Ndiaye for Iroegbunham that was the killer blow to our game instead of taking off McNeil who offered absolutely nothing in the last 20 minutes and also pushing Docoure into the number 10 role when he was playing really well in holding midfield instead of just putting Iroegbunham in the 10 role. And again Garner at RB he looked out of place I'm sorry people but he's not a RB he only played well there for England u21's because he was physically ahead of every winger he went up against at premier league level he's physically matched up some even better he is too slow it's that simple if not for Docoure covering his arse today we would've conceded more chances down that right hand side. It stops the rot but is still 2 points dropped. We had 1 point from the first 5 matches last season. Again, we're not making it easy for ourselves.
