Nice video man! Just got my brand new Icon Dark a few days ago, and that bike puts a smile on my face every km I ride with it! I was thinking to put the exact same exhaust you installed, is it required to re-map the ECU? Or is it just a plug-and-play thing? Thanks bud!
Looks really nice compared to the stock exhaust. Fits the bike really good. Do you get a significantly better leaning clearance? Is it a lot louder than before? Safe riding!
Yes way better leaning clearance since you took of lots of weight and the exhaust is slightly higher. Without the DB killer, it’s too loud for my ears. I prefer the dB killer but the whistle high pitch noise is annoying
@@rebelrx9166 Thanks. I'm pretty curious about this bike. Still not sure yet which bike to buy next year. No DB-Killer is not an option here in Germany. You'd lose the bike's operating permit without it. And I'm not into loud exhausts. Like it good sounding, but not too loud. Heard the pipe gets really hot in the previous version. Is it still the case? I want a good amount of leaning clearance. Not that it scares me, but I find it annoying, whenever my current bike's (a Honda CB500) pegs scrape at higher speeds. Not so often, but it happens when you're really having great fun and don't expect expect it at all :D
is it fluid below 2000 rpm? Can it resume without the clutchless in traffic below 2000 rpm? With the original exhaust this is not possible. With this it manages to be fluid at very low revs, for example from 1700 in second gear?
Bro that’s some horrible welds on that new exhaust. That would never pass the kind of inspections my work would need. Hope it wasn’t too expensive Chief. Is it titanium?
The whistle is caused by the round bar in the db killer outlet wich makes it easier to pull out. When it's removed the whistle is gone. www.ducatiscramblerforum.com/forum/exhaust-discussion/15177-termignoni-race-exhaust-diy-modification-get-rid-whistle.html#/topics/15177?page=1
Yup, exactly what Ron said. If you remove the DB Killer or cut out the round bar then it eliminates that high pitch noise. its easier to just take the DB killer off..
Do you think this 800cc Scrambler able to fit 1100 Pro Termignoni side parallel dual muffler exhaust ? Assuming I can get stock piping header of 1100 Pro .
Great video, did you ride it to the dealer to get it remapped, if so how far, my dealer is about 45 min away and I’m worried about damaging the engine with that long of a trip.
Hey man loved your video. Just got a 2020 scrambler and looking to put some side bags on. I see you have a set up. Can you sent me a link ?? It would be much appreciated! Ride on. Ride safe SutSut
I took it to my local Ducati Dealership. You need the DDS software and instrument in order to upload the map key. The bike is soo much more responsive. I love it. As far as sound, the map key does not change the sound. Only sound different is, theres less pop upon deceleration
RebelRx wait so you installed the exhaust and then took it to the dealership to upload the map key just got myself one of these exhaust that why im asking thanks
I’m a CWI (certified welding inspector). Those welds look like hammered dog shi*… For what that exhaust cost I would expect much better quality control.

Hello where did you get the exhaust ? Do you have the link ?
Hello where do you bought the termignoni part?
is it fluid below 2000 rpm? Can it resume without the clutchless in traffic below 2000 rpm? With the original exhaust this is not possible. With this it manages to be fluid at very low revs, for example from 1700 in second gear?
Nice video and the sound with the DB killer removed is way better! Where did you get the Termi slip-ons from?
Agreed 100%. The high pitch squeaky sound was weird..I got it on eBay from an authorized Ducati seller
@@rebelrx9166 yeah i want to ask wtf was that whistling noise...its so annoying...is is because the DB killer is on?
Without DB Killer sounds awesome

thanks for watching. i think i read somewhere its carbon, steel, and titanium
Termignoni usually makes great sounding exhaust. This whistles. Very odd. Do you hear that in person?

how did you install the side frames? where did you find the bolts and what size are they?
your bike is ducati sixty2 or Icon? thanks

What is the “DB killer”??
its a piece that screws on at the end of exhaust to quiet the exhaust a bit
Hello bro..can you put the link..where you buy?.
