We drove past the Hueston Woods park entrance yesterday after touring Miami with the middle child. Congrats on the move & a 3rd place check!! We toured UC the day prior & stayed in Hamilton at the Courtyard overlooking THE River, GM! Got in late & left early, I regrettably had no time. 😢 Child two is feeling UC, so that is good for my frequent returns to the area!! I want a 16" small jaw toad/football! Lol. Be well!
Great tournament finish on a new lake brother. Solid work finding fish then getting the upgrades. I try to tell folks...when you're fishing pay attention to your surroundings not only for safety but opportunities. I love seeing activity and managed a couple extra largemouth this weekend by casting the swim bait and topwater where they were working over bait fish and little bluegill. @@thecreekcrawler my sons mom lives right off 35.. crazy how you’re so close now! Have you been to Rush Run? I went there the other day and caught several nice largies.. they were crushing the wacky rig.. probably one of the best days of wacky rig fishing I ever had.
@timothykane1960 I live pretty close to there My spot was sharon woods lake but they started dredging it this year because by summer it's always covered with alge But would still produced nice fish

Im right next to West Fork of Mill Creek Lake, but unless I call it Winton Woods, nobody knows what Im talking about 😂. Its a fun kayak lake. Catch it on the right day and you will do well with some big bass. Decent catfishing too.

I moved near Dayton! I grew up around here so I am familiar with most of the rivers and creeks in the area.

It seemed like it would be a nice fishery. The quantity was there for sure. I couldn’t imagine a good spring bite.
