It happens because the shutter speed of gaurav's main camera is that high, that it captures the flash in midway 🙏i hope it helps...
I share quite a few things but with this app now the screenshots are becoming live n updated (as once u click it it gives real-time stats) so mostly I will use it with my college friends to plan our yearly get togethers, office weekend outings and family vacations as well. Answer to the question!
It is because working of the camera, it is a long explaination but in short it is because the whole sensor gradually reads light and that flash has a duration less than then the reading time of the sensor on current setting, for example looking at your video you must be shooting 1/50 or 1/60 and that flash must be 1/200 so that flash was quicker than that frame in a video so due to the working of the sensor the light was only recorded on half sensor. If the Duration of the flash was 1/50 or 60 it might have covered the full frame or nothing would have been recorded. A bigger and a deeper explanation is left out!

I think this is because your camera is using rolling shutter which does not take image at an instant but scans the image vertically. Which also means that half of the image at that point is older than the other half. This is just my theory.
Even if this is incorrect, it has something to do with shutter.
