I have a R5 1600 and get +- the same FPS as in this vid. Now I have a R7 5800X3D, still paired with 1060, and FPS didn't increase even a little bit on 1080p low... Seems like we need RTX 4090 to play CS 2 with at least stable 144+ FPS

Hi. I had a R5 1600 with 1060 before just a week ago I switched to R7 5800X3D. I can say that 1060 bottlenecks 5800X3D so much. Like It's the same FPS as with R5 1600 unless you go with lowest settings possible and 720p - 960p resolution. So FPS is about 120-140 on most maps, especially Mirage. On maps that got the most changes(Inferno, Overpass) + Ancient T Spawn It may drop under 100, like 70-80
With 5800X3D on 960p low I managed to squeeze out stable 200+ on every map, however on Ancient T Spawn it still drops under 100 FPS because of the water
I have ryzen 5 2600, 16GB of 3000mhz ram, and a 1060 6GB I wanted to upgrade gpu to something that won’t bottleneck and will provide stable 144fps at 1080p gaming such as apex, valorant and fortnite. Any advice ? :)
@@_ekyaJamd 6700xt if low budget, amd 7700xt/6800xt and maybe 7800xt, but cs2 fps higher on rdna 2.0 (6700/6800xt). All AAA-games works pretty good with Ryzen 5 2600/3600 and amd radeon 6700/6800/7700/7800 xt on 1080p-1440p high/very high without raytracing. IMPORTANT!!You need good PSU (850W recommended) and highspeed ram with frequency 3200,3666(and more) and Cl14-cl16 timings.
meanwhile i can get 80-120 fps on 1080p low with i5 7400 and rtx 3070.. .wtf is wrong with my pc.. freshly reinstalled and bloatware features in windows10 permanently disabled...

you should upgrade your gpu to 2k+ series, bc your cpu can't fully work with current gpu
Not necessarily I purchased a rx6600 and the average frames I get is 150~200 low settings

your i5 is too weak for the 3070. if you had a better cpu you would be getting 300+ fps probably
