I've watched so many videos trying to explain how to make parallel turns, and this is the only one where I can actually see what the person is doing because they aren't hidden in bulky snow clothing. Thank you!
How great to have that treadmill-style slope to practise on! I got so fed up of having to go back up the short slope to practise and then only having a few seconds each time to try turns. Going to keep going though!
Great video. Watching this has given me a quick refresher course in basic manoeuvres for when I go skiing in a few weeks after not having skied for over a decade. ❄️🎿⛷👍
I learned how to snowboard watching a video from Adventure. Looks like I'll do the same with skiing. Crystal clear instruction. If only you guys were in Canada. I will definitely consider stopping by if I visit.
OMG i have seen a lot of beginner videos, and i understood all of them with this one THANK YOU, perfect instructions, i wish i could go and practice there, that slope is great
You seem like a great instructor! You explained it really well but too bad I’m afraid of going downhill fast. Just the thought of sliding down fast without being able to stop terrifies me
The skis know how to turn. They require that you face down the hill and balance from foot to foot. You don't have to force them by thinking about turning with your legs. Your skis turn your feet and legs, not the other way around. If you try to force them, you will use the wrong parts of your body.
You said that by putting more weight on one foot makes you turn, then how come at 1:41 when all of your weight was on your right foot you didn’t turn left?? 🤔
It isn't really needed. Concentrate on the simplicity of what he is doing. Don't try to read more into it than is there. The skis know how to turn if you do Your part. Learn To Ski EZY with Jack. www.patreon.com/JB91710
OK. But what really happened at 0:38 that you had to insert the out-of-place fragment that tells that people take the second lesson right after the first? :-)

Great video. Very instructive. It think that it would been useful to have had other views (e.g. Side) of the body position
You seem like a great instructor! You explained it really well but too bad I’m afraid of going downhill fast. Just the thought of sliding down fast without being able to stop terrifies me

Your demonstration of the wedge christy turn wasn't a wedge christy. Brilliant stem christy however.
Doubt it’s possible to carve on that, your skis are supposed to do most the work not the turning of your feet
I need to learn how to ski😅

Why
Noooooo! Not the wedge! Just builds in horrible habits and technique.
Look up PMTS. direct to parallel. No wedge. Ever.
Funny, Harb has a wedge to parallel as part of his series.
What show off dude. We got it, don't need to explain twice
boring
