Sir, i am also suffering from osmf.. i have 30 mm mouth opening i can take spicy food but palpapbe fiber bands are in inner cheeks and scar band on retromolar area and blanching on soft palate .. i have left my all habits from 9 months and now in lycopene and curcumin suppliment... can u plj tell me that what is the impact of intralesional injection like placentrax and other steroids like hydrohinase ,trimicolone ,dexamethasone etc. specially on blanching and on fiber binds that how it works to change mouth color get back to normal color due to blanching and fiber bands

Hydrocortisone powder is not available in my city easily. Can i inject prednisone with LA in my patients mouth? Prednisone tablets are available in 5 and 10gms.. Can i use them by crushing them in powder form and then mix it with LA?

And if it is how much does it cost, recovery timing and are there any chances if recurrence...please reply as i am very scared of this problem...thanks a lot

It takes approx 2 -3 years and itnever gets 100 percent recovery it will recover only 30 to 40 percent....

Hydrocortisone hemisuccinate injection to its very easily...available.....not advisable to gv prednisolone

Takes 2-3 years for recovery that too 30 peecent .... antioxidants for approx a year....u hv to fake along with physiotherapy
