    Volumetric Concrete Mixers are cool bits of kit. Usually come with a free barrowing service too so all you have to worry about is spreading the concrete.

    Your far better using a traditional mixer (drum mixer wagon) those volumetric mixers never seem to mix enough

    I would love to get a look at the mixer truck in person, all I have seen here in the US are the old drum types that are loaded at the plant and mixed while driving to the site. I wonder how the maintenance on that compares to the drum types. Probably a lot cheaper if the truck breaks down on the way to the site since you don't have to worry about it drying in the drum. And happy birthday to Harry as well, hope it's a great one. 😀🎂

      This is a quantity machine so basically it arrives on site dry so the mix can be made to how the site lads want it and then you only pay for what you used rather than over ordering if that makes sense

      Great idea, my father past away few months back and I remember he did this tar and with white stong on a public path. So we went to look to see if we could find it and we did.

      given the fact I worked for the contractor that did his work for 12 years, id say there was jack all wrong with his yard, but hay his money at the end of the day hahaha

      Sean Kerr the concrete that’s left will sink would of been better too take it all up and start a fresh because there’s no mesh under the old parts and it’s 4 inches thick 🙈

      nah it isnt, it has to fill every single corner so that there is no air inside and the concrete, otherwise it gets damaged over the time

    The concrete roller is hydraulic and they're hard work a vibrating tamping board is a lot easier

    Heavy work raking and levelling concrete all day . No need to go to the gym when doing this , looking good !

      We always use mix on site now. You only pay for what you use.

      If you get ready mix you have to be bang on with your measuring! Any over it’s your problem! Farmers don’t like wasting concrete!

      The best concrete is out of a barrel mixer, to much water in those mix it on site jobs

      i thinks it's fine. The original concrete wasnt done in one pour yet all the bits stayed level

    Is that a new type of concrete mixer or is that type common in the UK ? Never seen it this way , mixing it while laying the concrete.

      They're called volumetric mixers, the only advantage that I can think of compared to normal mixers is that its impossible to have concrete dry in the drum
