i enjoyed your video! Im surfing Malibu 2nd and 3rd point and scripps, thinking about getting the happy everyday. Up in the air about the two models. Glad I found this video
I’m a bigger bloke 5’11 190lbs. Been looking at the Happy Everyday for 3-5ft. Did you say you went up in volume or would like to compared to the normal size you ride? Or will normal vol do? I was looking to go a litre or so under
Hey mate, I'm 6'3" at 218lbs and I've been loving my Happy Everyday. I picked up a 6'3" at 38L of volume and I'm loving it. I might have been able to go a bit smaller. but the foam isn't getting in the way at all. We just had great swell in Southern California and I couldn't get off this board in the 4-8ft surf we had. I have yet to try it out in grovely small surf but i imagine so long as the small waves are punchy you could easily get up and moving in waist high surf. I bet a stock 5'11" board would fit you well.
@@Thecroutonexperience thanks man! I’m also 5’10, but about 143lbs. So I do around 26.5L. Thinking about going a stock 5’7 happy everyday, or a custom 5’8, that is narrower and thinner, so will be the same L as the 5’7. Do you think having an extra inch will help in this design?

Get both! Both such great boards. I think for short fast beach breaks the rocket wide goes better. Imo! But maybe for Malibu the happy! Yew
