Thanks so much for the comment, its always been my favorite as well! Interestingly, though, now that I have it up for sale, a surprisingly low interest from buyers. Oh well, some lucky fellow will pull the trigger eventually! :)
There is a lot of awesome Mopar trim pieces that the new owner is welcomed to put on. :) LOL, the car as it is, was the vision I had in my twenties. Poverty look, no wheel mouldings, no hubcaps, all blacked out and no frills. Looking back, I'd probably have done things a little different, but hey, not bad for a kid with nothing but a dream and zero experience. :)
Thanks for watching. If you're in the market, its still available. :) www.hemmings.com/classifieds/listing/1968-dodge-charger-scarborough-ontario-2724581

There was a lot of appropriation back in the day! :-) The back of my '68 Dodge Charger looks almost identical to the front of my '74 Dodge Monaco! If you watch the Steve Magnante channel, an auto historian, he will point out similarities of design, and various information on various cars, he's worth a watching! th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=steve+magnante+channel
The best color for a deep shine like a mirror. No color like it. However, after its been out a couple of hours, usually looks like it needs a bath. Darker colors more you see. Lighter colors less you see.

Awesome comments, thanks! Well, it I am lucky to be close to America where they have built these classic cars. If you are a car nut this is where you want to live! :) Yes, I am selling, sad to see it go, but maybe to a better place where it will be driven and appreciated more!
Thanks for watching! Rubber front 225/70/15, rear 275/60/15. Wheels are from Wheel Vintiques - 15" steel, 7" front, 8" rear. Reaar spacing I believe I used 4" BS and 8" rim, so 50/50.
Nice charger man so whats the process exactly that u did just buff?? I have a 79 z28 i painted black but it still not as nice looking as ur charger thanks
Thanks for the message. I don't know much about detailing, so I gave it to a local detail shop, and a thousand bucks. :) Apparently they said they had to do an abrasive cut, and then total overall buff. They say it took them about two days, so it must have been a huge job. The paint on the car is actually a GM black, with 3 coats of clear on top, so it has a lot of good base to work from they said. But yes 'cut and buff' they said. Good luck on your detailing!
@@chargerr4807 oh alright thanks yeah im trying to get info as much as i can I painted my camaro single stage jet black it came out good for being a home job lil bit of dirt on the paint but im ok w that just sub to your channel here from moreno valley CA

Hello, thanks for watching. The wheels are by Wheel Vintiques, the fronts are 7", stock, and the rear are 8" a bit thicker to accommodate a fatter tire. There are a few backspacing options, so I would have to look at my receipts to figure out exactly which one I bought, let me know. The rubber is Front 225/70/15, Rear 275/60/15, so overall the profile look the same, but the rear tires are thick. :)

I like it how where can I find the listing ?
My favorite charger is the 70 because the wrap around chrome lip grill. To me it just added another notch of aggressive and style
@@raeray157 70 Is nice also, the long rear taillights, I think, began the 70s styling on the rest of the Mopar family.
thanks for uploading bro
Looks and sounds great! Have you thought about getting proper exhaust tips? Would really look good and finish off the rear.
