Getting one good car out of the two sounds good. Hopefully the mechanicals of the new car are sound. You should have enough bits left over to sell on and recoup a lot of your costs. 👍

.... or... build the car and put all of the swapped bits onto the "bad" car and sell it complete as a good honest project to someone else.
