Yes! Once I changed the strings and replaced the tuners, it worked and sounded fine! I really don’t have the opportunities to use it often, but it’s sounding fine! As much as I’d love a National, I’d never use one enough to warrant the cost.
No, I don't use the instrument a lot - and so far not in a recorded setting, so I haven't had much need to mess with it, but yes, I am still very curious how it would sound with a high-end cone in it! Thanks for asking!
