At 10:10 there is a picture of the connection between the two units, or links. The hydraulic hoses seem to take off to the right and the engine is on the right side. The vehicle is turned left. The circular rings on the hydraulic cylinder shafts suggest that is the straight ahead setting point. On the left is a large yoke bolted to the trailer frame and the left right clevis is welded to the yoke. Below the left right hydraulic cylinder, partly covered in show there seems to be a pivot. Does the axis of the pivot pass through the u-joint visible above? The clevis for the left-right hydraulic cylinder is a puzzle. Is that clevis made to allow up and down rotary motion when the up-down hydraulic cylinder raises the trailer? The end of the left-right hydraulic cylinder appears to be a lathe turned plate. It looks like the capscrews holding the end plate go into blind drilled holes. Look at that ingenious hydraulic hose attachment. It looks like the hydraulic cylinder is a casting and the builders had to cross drill the casting. The threads for the hydraulic hose were probably very difficult to cut. I don't remember seeing cast hydraulic cylinders on construction equipment. That might be part of the Russian engineering legacy from WW II. This is really rugged construction.
