The trays have lots to do with the finished object. The first one has a warm feel and the second one has a open, clean feel (in my opinion). I do like the first one best, although the second is cute too. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

They are both adorable. For the more rustic theme I would choose the one with the bird,. The second one is more easter theme. I love both, both for more rustic I would use it in living/ family room.
