Somewhere along the way Ed Farhat decided that these long matches with holds weren't for him and decided to start acting like a wild man using foreign objects and throwing fire at his opponents.
I absolutely love this announcer, Russ Davis' laissez-faire style. His delivery makes you think that he would sound the same if a bull was in there chasing the wrestlers around w/a stick of dynamite between his teeth. I really enjoy it. It's sort of Lance Russell after he innhaled his herbal medicine.
cool seeing sheik give and take slams. cut out a lot of the matwork and you've got a good modern TV match here. sprinkle in a couple of modern techniques and you might even have a good modern ppv match here as well.
Good quality vintage bout with handsome ex body builder Bill Melby and Arab hard man The Sheik. The Sheik was the obvious time waster and dirty tricks wrestler but who could have beaten Bill with his trademark hammerlock if he continued to keep Bill prostrate on the canvas, weakening Bill's big bicep and shoulder. Bill's muscular advantage helped dominate the Arab quite a lot but he didnt break him and a draw ensued!
@@jasonbuzzalini5174 And of Lebanese descent, but there are no sheiks in Lebanon, just as there are no sheiks in Iran, the Iron Sheik's homeland, or in Iraq, where "Sheik" Adnan al-Kaissie was billed from.
awesome headscissors 🔥😁👍👌
Melby once tagged with Billy Darnell, both were awesome wrestlers..
Bill Melba was a bodybuilder as well. Loved watching him use the Sheik
He was same person of The Sheik ?
Russ Davis was sick that day.
20:27 nice

The same could be said of Crusher, Bruiser, many others once they aged

Ed Farhat was a U.S. Army tank commander during WWll
Great wrestling.
Love Bill Melby. Another good looking wrestling stud in the ring. Love watching him on the receiving end of some good punishment.
Damn the Sheik was a good looking guy

Two absolute legends in the ring. Interesting that Abdullah Farouk was not at ringside with his protoge.
Yeah dude 😎 good match 👍 What is up? Man on man action 🔥 R U man enough?
Bill Melby e muito mais forte e muito lindo 💪💪💪🐻🐻🐻❤️❤️❤️❤️🇧🇷
Jim Cornette wishes this was the only type of wrestling that existed today
No he just wants wrestling to he seen as an athletic contest, and less of the inexplicable silly shit they put out today
He, like myself, can live without senseless gymnastics and endless obvious cooperation that leads to dives and flips that mean nothing.
Tell me you don’t listen to a word Jim Cornette says without telling me you don’t listen to a word Jim Cornette says.

I hate draws. Really really hate them. No satisfaction in a draw.
