The hotel clerk is hilarious. His unfazed upbeat genuine responses to Larry. He even immediately says Larry is a "good guy" to Mickey after Larry just screamed at him.
It's already charged to your bill, so you dont have to worry about it.

Might have been Maria's uncle. He was so distraught by Larry he turned to drinking, lost his hotel clerk job, moved to LA, drowned in Larry's pool while trying to rob his house and his brother blackmailed Larry into getting Maria Sophia a part on his Netflix show.
Larry's casual disrespect for upholstery seems out of character for a man who respects wood. Normally I'd expect him to either conceal the stain or pay for it out of guilt, not to deny responsibility.
How dare you imply that wood is tantamount to upholstery!

I think that also an interesting part about Larry, sometimes he nitpicks the heck out if something and other times he doesn't care at all. He's so inconsistent I think it's just part of who he is at that point, caring when it helps him.
He didnt deny responsibility. He called the front desk himself! They took 99 seconds, if that, to clean out the chocolate, then charged him an exorbitant amount for a basic stain removal.

I was born into a rich family, and my experience of wealth is intention of spending. Warren Buffet will never buy a brand new car for the exact same reason

Captain is not a phony thing. It's a real thing.
There can be two pilots, and either can pilot the plane. But one of them is the captain and the other is the first officer. The first officer cannot give an order to the captain.

By an order I meant a direction which under regulations one cannot refuse, unless a refusal would imperil safety.

@dixon pinfold First officer absolutely can give orders to pilot. When they don't, you have disasters like the KLM/Pan Am disaster in the Canary Islands caused by pilot error and the co-pilot and flight engineer not standing up to the seasoned Captain when he started the take off roll without clearance.

plot twist: the receptionist was fired after the coffee beans were stolen... He went on to open a Taqueria. His daughter is a promising actress looking for an opportunity and the movie industry.
I love how Larry gets incensed whenever he gets charged a fee, even though he basically has an endless amount of money for the rest of his life.

I usually agree with Larry but not with the couch stain thing. If there was no negative consequence of telling the front desk about the stain, there would be no nobility in that action. It's like expecting not to go to jail because you turned yourself in lol
The weight thing is so ridiculous. Just.email the pilot privately
they force and over-complicate a lot of the situations there, but otherwise it wouldn't be as funny. I would say you could solve around 95% of the awkward situations on the show with some common sense and zero awkwardness. but Ok, I'm still able to enjoy it.
