You are so very talented. I wish I I had a very small portion of your talent. I'm 60 years old and started coloring due to depression and found awesome people like yourself to learn from. I may have already mentioned I had to give up cross stitch due to my vision. I thought it was a terrible thing. Even though I I still can crochet, knit, diamond paint and a few other things, I have continued with the coloring and not looked back. Hi Karen! I wanted to say that I love watching your channel...I've always been an artist but I've never been so much a colorist. I understand shading but sometimes I get overwhelmed with what color pallets to go with, so sometimes that hinders me. But my question is this; where do you located all your wonderful coloring books. I figured if I followed along for a little while, with you, I'll get the color picking down. I've gotten all the polys, all the prismas, some of the luminance pencils, and some of the distress inks. Would you mind terribly putting in the descriptions where you picked up the books so I can follow along with you. Thank you for doing all you do, I'm so grateful for your teachings🤗. Thank you Jennifer, most of the books I have were either purchased from Amazon, Esty under the artists name, coolcraftbook or where a gift. Is there a certain book you are looking for?
@@ZucchiniKitty hi there Karen, well to be honest I've been grabbing allot of the books that I've seen you color in, just to follow along to get the hang of color usage. I really like this one you're working on in this video. I tried looking in the book depository, but had no luck. Was this an Amazon find? Some of the female beauties you color I have seen in etsy but I dont have a working printer. Does the artist sell them by mail? I would love to follow along with those as well as this particular videos book.
The other ones you are referring to are in the book called Set of Art by Mariola Budek, it should be on her Etsy page, www.etsy.com/shop/MariolaBudekArt?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=716760057
I tried them for you, they take up too much product and do not blend the colors very nicely. I guess it would work for a background but kind of messy. I would not recommend these for pan pastels.

Karen, the brushes you used in this video, for the distressed ink, do you think we could use them with Pan Pastels? 💖
I tried them for you, they take up too much product and do not blend the colors very nicely. I guess it would work for a background but kind of messy. I would not recommend these for pan pastels.
