Awesome to hear these non-Tongans sing this song in my language. They are not the MoTab but you can still feel their sincerity and the spirit. There is no doubt there is a special bond between full-time missionaries! I was one of them long long time ago:)
real humbling to listen to these elders sing in a foreign language , it came from the heart !! and as a tongan that was amazing and good effort to you all !
I am glad to share. It was so fun to see the many personalities in the group. My son is the Elder Loftus they sang to! Love these guys. Please share with your family and friends. I love seeing this type of thing that has my son in it. Do you know there is a documentary on tv between conference sessions that they taped while these young men were there? Be sure to watch on tv or internet!!!! You may see your cousin!!!
Junior801 I have SEVERAL Photos of your Elder Pau'u from the MTC. He and my son were GOOD friends there! I was just going through the pics from that time and there are some fun ones!!!
1. ʻOku ʻa e ʻOtua kitauá, Te tau ʻi ai ʻafē? ʻI Hono ʻafioʻanga, ʻO e ʻEiki ko e ʻOtua. [Chorus] Te tau toe faka- taha mo e ʻOtua, Pea te tau nofo, Ai mo ʻetau Tamai. 2. ʻOku ʻa e ʻOtua kitauá, ʻE ʻafe te u mamata. Ki Hono fofonga ʻofa, ʻO e ʻEiki ko e ʻOtua. 3. ʻOku ʻa e ʻOtua kitauá. Te Ne fakapale ʻaki, Maʻu ʻa e kalauni, ʻO e ʻEiki ko e ʻOtua. 4. ʻOku ʻa e ʻOtua kitauá. Pea te tau nonofo, Maʻu ʻa e nāunau, ʻO e ʻEiki ko e ʻOtua.
Hi sister loftus, I'm a recent convert and I'm putting in my mission papers next week, I live to talk to returned missionaries to help me prepare, do you know if your son has a Facebook?:)
I am glad you saw your brother. I love this video. If you go to ksl.com then put AN ARMY OF FAITH in the search engine there is a wonderful documentary that was made while these wonderful young men were in the MTC>.... maybe you will see your brother in that as well.
Thank you tophrules101! It is hard to think that these young men are all home and probably have been for over a year now!!! I love the video and the fresh faces of new excited missionaries. If anyone knows these guys, please tell them to post something here or something so that we know how they are!!! Love to all the Elders in this video!!!
Loved 🥰, thank you Elders ❤
