The Frozen ones are not half bad. But nothing like that steamed cook of WC
Oy, I remember that call and pickup. And mom telling us "that's why they're called gut grenades" when she got home from work.
You've earned your "cred" with this! The frozen rendition of these 'hamburgers' are amazingly close to the real thing, which - I'm not at all certain - is a good thing! Job well done!
As a young man White Castles was first stop after parting all night.... Also my dad who would have been 99 this summer use to do the same thing... family tradition.
Have you ever noticed that there seems to be a Carvel next to many White Castles NYC?
Well there used to be so many Carvel locations they were near everything. But it makes sense, companies use the same strategies to select prime locations that offer the most value. I guess. Nothing like family tradition!
When I was a junkie I used to eat this at night, it was my first and last meal of the day.

They sent it to me with all their products for free because I do on another channel that they sponsor. Lol.
This is accurate, they are a decent replacement if you can't get the real deal. I've thrown up WC before as well in my college days but I ate the full dozen burgers, 2 boxes of fries and some chicken fries, then washed it down with cheap liquor...not one of my best ideas.

I agree that White Castle has done an excellent job capturing the essence of their restaurant sliders in a frozen concoction. You can add your own pickle mustard or ketchup. Many of their restaurants offer a Brown Mustard alternative which I truly enjoy. Bravo White Castle you succeed where many of your competitors failed!

Agreed. But they are closer than other frozen foods that are connected to their respective restaurants. Like Fridays for example.
