I feel the same way about Heechul's appearances in MVs as you. My assumption is that he still wants his parts to be smaller since he doesn't appear in the concerts. I really love him!
I always look forward to your reaction videos because you react just as any ELF would. Squeal about each of the boys, pause when Heechul finally shows up on screen and cry a little during happy songs because there’s so much love for these men. 💙 That reminded me of 2PM’s Heartbeat ending fairy too 😂
Based on the behind-the-scenes that have been released to date, Heechul are involved in both Celebrate & White Christmas..at least that’s shown to us. So like the good ELFs we are, we also trying to guess who is singing each part of each song 😅. But overall this is also another well-made album from SJ. Not that they will do anything less of course but they really exceed expectations in every album & song they release 💙💙

I made a playlist of their Part 1 and Part 2 albums so i can listen to all the songs continuously as a whole album- gosh what a treat . I think SJ has a good strategy here - split the album of 10songs into 2 parts release so we can slow down n really enjoy each song fully. I’m a latecomer to the party having only discovered SJ in 2019 and started diving into their material little by little. And initial reaction was skip here & there looking for the “good bits” but then after listening continually realised each song is very good as it showcase their rich harmony as well as creativeness , skills & courage in tackling different genre and doing so well sometimes exceeding expectation. So i slow down to listen to each song n realise each song is truly a gem n how some ELF (who didn’t or couldn’t purchase full album for various reasons) might hv missed out on many of their songs especially if relying on MV releases on YT and only focus on songs with MV YT n maybe came away thinking that the promoted track is the best of the album n therefore may not hv given the rest of SJ songs the attention the songs deserved. Just sharing my 2 cents. 😅
Definitely true. Their b-sides are actually so so good. I especially love their old ballad songs, which Yoo Young Jin (senior composer in SM) composed. Songs like Sorry-sorry Answer, She's gone, Lets not, My all is in you, Earthquake, Coagulation, and many more songs I couldn't even list all of them. Their vocal are just so good.

I listened to the whole album with you for the first time. I love the MV for Celebrate because there are two story lines going on throughout. It is quite delightful. I think why they choose celebrate as tittle track probably because they can perform live in SS9 in flexible time, i mean if they choose hate Xmas, it will be strange if they perform it on jan or feb or even in march LOL and may be because not all Elf celebrate Xmas since they also have elf in moslem countries too, so celebrate even though have a vibe of winter or Xmas still can enjoy generally. Yes, KRY songs are really good, i hope they have a comeback again or KRY tour, i miss to them. And yes, even at the beginning KRY have distribute their part in discussion which one will sing this part, which one will be the part to harmonize and such, 3 of them have a different tone and each other strength and on in par of high level of skill in singing and i will not compare who the best because for me they all in same level, it just about cup of tea which vocal tone you like the best, LOL But for me all KRY and all other members have a beautiful voices. And over time, Celebrate kinda stuck in my head and it made me like it more and more 😁 Then concert-party wise, White Love is the best. I attended SS9 in Manila and when Suju sang White Love, we rocked the place with our dancing and jumping and swinging our lightsticks. And it's not only us having fun, if you watch the fancam you can see suju were having fun with this song too on stage (but when did they not?). Did you watch their comeback live when they sang White Love? It's like they were having a karaoke session with their fam/best friends.
Yeah - i keep thinking this shld hv been the title track as i played each song, but then realized each and all of SJ songs are title track material and I like every song, but of course my especial favourite is Celebration (for the message it brings) & Snowman. When I first listened to the Highlight medley, I thought I wouldn't like Hate Christmas bc it was too.... generic sounding and it has this typical childishly happy ring to it. But when I listened to the full track, I've come to really love it xD My personal ranking: 1) if only you, hate Christmas 2) celebrate 3) snowman 4) white love That's not to say I dislike any of these songs though, I actually like all of them. I'm a sucker for ballads, so If Only You was an expected favourite but if we are to only consider Christmas-ish songs, then I like Hate Christmas most.
