- WE MADE IT TO MASTER! I believe this is the first Master rank Dark Magician Deck, since I hadn't seen any others on Master Duel Meta or on TH-cam. We made it from Diamond 5 to Master 3 with this deck, and IT WAS A GRIND! Nevertheless tons of fun and love to see DM compete.

This guy is truly awesome. I only have one complaint. This is a branded/dragon deck. This is not a dark magician deck. I'll talk about this with my brother and he concurs. If you have only one dark magician in a deck, and you're running multiple other engines to make it competitive? It's not a DM deck. I would rather lose with a pure build
You have a legitimate complaint. I will tell you why I completely disagree with you. You said it's a branded/dragon deck not a DM deck, let's look at some numbers within the deck: 15 DM specific cards (mention DM in the text), 6 bystials, 5 branded, and 14 staple cards. The extra deck coincides with the main deck so I won't count them. So we can throw out the staples because I believe even you would say you run staples (maxx c, called by the grave, etc.). I dont know how you can take what makes up nearly half the deck (DM cards) ignore them and say this is a branded dragon deck. If your reasoning has to do with me running 1 DM then I ask you if you would run 3 DM's if you weren't worried about the 1 getting banished? Thanks for bringing this up so I can clarify: This is a Dark Magician Branded Deck, not the other way around.
Congrats King! I'll say it again you're ahead of the curve in playing DM continue to push DM to it's limit.

Hi, I'm planning on going back to this game, I'm not veteran not regular player since I dropped the game with how much complicated yugioh nowadays xD... But I really want a DM deck since it's my favorite structure... Any tips for a newbie?
@@LazyDeath666 The best thing I can say is start small and start expanding outward. Begin with a basic, pure DM deck like the one in the Master duel shop. As you become more familiar with the way to play it, you can start experimenting with links and xyz. If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them!
@@kingmahde1 how to obtain runics other than master pack? Is it a secret pack? Also what should I expand my dm deck with? I wasted lots of ur and Sr materials making some cards thought I would use on my deck but didint really put it into the deck...
If you craft a runick sr or ur you'll unlock the secret pack. Also if you click the how to obtain button on the bottom left, it'll tell you what pack the card comes in. In terms of DM, you just need the cards that i talk about in the video I linked. DM has a lot of bad support unfortunately. A lot of people like to use floodgates,or dpe, or branded so you can try those starting with floodgates
The only thing that is heartbreaking for this deck is that banlist that was just dropped earlier today

Hey, I'm a new player but I used to be a high ranked Dark Magician during covid on Duel Links.
And there are a couple of imo go-to cards I don't see here... Navigation and Dark Illusion.
Granted, Duel Links has a bit of an abridged meta but... I'm especially baffled by the absence of Navigation. Is it unplayable?
Yeah unfortunately Navigation hasnt seen much play in DM for a while now. It's really not that useful with the current meta because we need more than just summoning out DM. I remember when it was a DM staple but not anymore.
I actually made a DM Kashtira deck. Seems so wrong but it works. Can’t believe it.

how will the new banlist affect the deck? i've been gathering all my resources to build it and i don't quite know what to replace the fusion with.
Im releasing a video today talking about it but in short with branded fusion to 1 the deck is dead :( there may be some good news around the corner tho...
This would be so much better if dragoon was playable, i have a dm branded deck on nexus that revolves around dragoon, also a combo i try to go for is albion into lubellion discarding something useful and getting mirrorjade or some other negate
How right you are, i wish dragoon was playable! If you have the discard then definitely getting that extra disruption with MJ is a good move. Definitely gonna think about it next time!

Awesome deck!! Have you thought about trying Chaos Angel in the deck, it’s super easy to summon with just a rod and a DM. Dunno if it’s good but it’s kinda fun and spicy

Thank you! I just started using it on stream and it's got some great synergy. I think I can make it a lot better though, so I gotta keep working on the deck. With the banlist coming in less than 2 weeks, Kash DM is the future!

Why wont it let me add two branded fusion cards to my deck. It says I can only have one limited card in this deck when I go to add another. Also mine has the number 1 on top and yours has the number 2. I just started playing 2 weeks ago and my purrely deck is amazing but I want another deck. Can someone help me please?!
unfortunately habibi, master duel limited branded fusion to 1 about 2 months ago. So, this deck isnt as good with branded fusion being hit

I want an advice as a fan or a brother..I already have Dark lords/Dark Magician/Bystial/Branded Despia. What should I go to next.. what's the best choice.. I've got 10k gems that are hard to farm so I don't wanna rush anything
I gottchu, but first i need to know if you want to play a top tier meta deck or a rogue deck that can compete. Ive really enjoyed thunder dragons lately and also I just started heroes (but they're very expensive). Both decks are rogue but can make it to master

@@jaiekmc5730 Heroes would be a good deck to learn. Rikka and dragon link are gonna be the best decks imo post banlist so those will get u to master 1 easily. Blackwings is another cool one too

Thanks bro! Chaos angel has been added, I took out a super poly target (dragostapelia). I'm honestly thinking about taking out super poly because kash is not easy to hit with it.

Why not play super polly at 3 and why no ash , do you feel like polly is to bricky ?
No ash bc DM is too weak to trade 1 for 1 negates. I used to play ash and imperm but a lot of times in higher ranks people can play through them. I prefer board breakers, like super poly, evenly, drnm. The discard eff sucks for dm bc we dont recycle well and i felt like 2 super polys were enough given my other board breaker options. Good question

This deck is very good going 2nd but going first is still the aim so you can set up your disruptions

oh wow. a “meta destroying dark magician deck” video thats actually using a decent way to play the deck with decent ratios rather than just someone with some jank eye of timaeus deck in gold LOL. congrats!
something to note (not sure if its in master duel yet since i dont play) is you can run 1 apkalone 1/2 winda in the etxra and 1 schism in the main which turns any hand that is cartesia and a body on the field into the winda lock, which can be pretty good
Thanks I appreciate it! Hmmm that's pretty interesting. I'd have to probably up cartesia to two instead of 1, but that's a easy winda lock that doesn't take too many cards in the main deck. I might have to mess around with that sometime, thanks!

dude this is not a dark magician deck 2 our of 15 cards in your extra deck are DM and 15 out of 40 in your main deck is DM not even half, this is some random ass deck with a bit of DM sprinkle in it for flavor
What a strange position to take. You must not play too much MD. Most decks have side engines such as branded/bystials. I'll be sure to add Dark Flare Knight to the extra deck in the future 🤣
