Can i just say that in 2012 I watched this video thinking it was a high school cheer team? I was in seventh grade and was a rec cheerleader, but this exact video led me to learn about all star cheerleading and I even ended up doing all-star cheer for three years. Sadly I can't don't it any more because of money, but just seeing what this video started for me was amazing. Thank you.
They’res only 2 people with needles and gain being one of them, and they’re both in the left side for elites. I’m not a diehard Gabi fan or anything, but why is she not center? She definitely had the flexibility to be center and shoulda been.

i have always loved top gun but for some reason their routine didnt excite me as much this year as it has done in the past. I still think cali and cheer athletics deserved to place higher then them.

They got third because of bobbles, not to mention their stunt sequence was lvl 4 minus the double down and the full around to straddle.. Which I think may also b lvl 4..
Her mom made her switch gyms, since she is very very close with Angle Rice, Angle's Mom owns the gym Gabi now cheers at, this is coming from someone who cheers at TG.
I love the part after jumps when the jaguar roars the two girls on left and right side bend down and whip their hair up. I really liked their pyramid. And the dance too. They did awesome. Great job jags. Congrats on your bronze medal. Love jags

Yes they hit, but Cheetahs deserved their win. Honestly TG wasn't so hot this year. I know exactly why. They have absolutely no difficulty. I am better than some of these girls and I am level 4. Top Gun just wanted to be Large Coed so they put people on who could not do the skills and that hurt them in the end. Their stunts were level 4 with a double down. Full up to scale, turn to bow and arrow, lib to dip to heel stretch, turn to scorp/needle, to arobesque, to double down. Classic level 4.
i LOVE the cheer mix it sounds really great... i HATE the girls pants... and i see why they placed 3rd its not that they are bad cause they are really good its just that their routine was less intricate and not as difficult as the other teams if they stepped up the difficulty level they could have taken first they are very clean cut
They should've changed their stunt sequence to something more exciting than a fake/illusion tick-tock. It just prolonged the stunt sequence and was just disappointing to see when they didn't have tick-tocks at worlds.
@TheFlipCheer yeah they don't have much difficulty in their partner stunts, but neither did cheetahs.. Cheetahs stunts were 360 to heelstretch, bow and arrow, to scale then scorpion and then double out, it's not much harder then theirs...
i love top gun, but they arent as good as they use to be. For starters I remember when the whole team would do standing back tucks, etc. like it was almost a requirement in order to be on the team, and now you got the entire back row who cant do them, along with crappy toe touches. they got guys on their team that cant tumble or dance, and merely made the squad simply because they are bases for the girls. Come On Top Gun seriously..... you use to be my favorite....
Builderandminer6 Gaming there is not enough time or space to have every boy on the team tumble AND have girls tumble too, some girls don't tumble and some boys don't tumble, the most skillful tumblers are the ones that do, the ones who are more skillful at stunting and less skillful at tumbling do just that. There are 36 people on the mat.
Builderandminer6 Gaming oh yeah I understand but a lot of them actually can tumble I think, they just don't in the routine, for example I know a few people who didn't tumble last season on tglc but they say they intend to this season so like I said, it's pretty much just who are better at certain stuff plus the time and space. Also people who didn't tumble on tglc tried out for OO5 and had to tumble and they made it sooo yeah :)
I think by clean she meant that its unfair to see a team win when they fall and/or bobble just because their routine has harder elements. Like when CEA won this year I was baffled because the stunts were wobbly than hell and their tumbling was awful. Yeah they were difficult, but to me it should come down to exicution
y’all the youngest person on this team this year was 12 and now they’re 19 and if they super seniored could be going to their last worlds with tglc :(((
hey i know gabi butler is amazing and has the best scorpion it is just they need the tallest flyer in the middle i thort the same thing first but I've meet most of the team and i asked why they told me that I'm a cheerleader so i know what I'm talking about

Crazy to think people were calling this a borderline level 4 routine and they're now known to have the most difficult routines in allstar cheerleading

Top Gun didn't have true Co-ed stunting like Cheetahs...stunting wasn't difficult lost them points. They'll bring it next season though

I am honestly not happy with the way top gun is run. You see, some boys don't even tumble, they are just there for stunts, way to be well rounded..
