Its honestly such a good example of classic sm style which was excellently mixed with ncts futuristic style, the strong influences of other sm artists, mostly shinee is evident as well as some michael jackson too

I completely agree that they need to take this style and run with it. It truly elevates their concept like no other sound has. This is what I imagine when I think of Neo Culture Technology. It's so funny to me that shawols are unanimously agreeing that this is their favorite NCT 127 song, for obvious reasons. This is a perfect example of using your bread and butter (SM sound) and adding a modern touch to it. NCT 127 could go SO far with this sound and never have to worry about being stale or needing to scramble to follow the latest trend. The rest of the album is a masterpiece as well.
Def one of, if not the BEST release this year. Not only from SM, but the KPOP genre in general

NCT delivers. It frightens me how much I love them sometimes. And I really really really love the whole retro-funk groove - hope they do more like this. It suits them well. And the choreo is BRILLIANT.

The reason why it kinda sounds like a song SHINee would put out, could have to do with the producer of this song also having worked with SHINee in the past. I also got the SHINee impression when I first heard it.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who got shinee vibes from this song. This is what I hoped SuperM was going to put out actually 😂 but the song actually does work for NCT so I’m not mad at all
the producer who made this song also produced a lot of shinee songs, “married to the music” for example (i can’t remember others but i know that there are)

I agree, there's something about this track that feels like it has a heartbeat that's pulsing - it's probably bc of the synths but it really helps to push and drive the song, I love it so much 💚NCT really snapped

Yessss. This was AMAZING. Kpop songs usually don't have this sort of production, so it was unique and quite overwhelming to hear it with this song. Might have just been the best comeback for the year hahaha. It was so good
I heard this song first live last week and it is amazing live as well. The energy in the arena was fantastic. The choreo is some of their best.
this song is really one of those songs that only pop up once is a couple years. everyone was impressed by it and production wise and from a musicians perspective, it's probably nct's best and most impressive song. the chords and crispness are really something special to me.

The views number is only at 21M, they are grossly underrated. Superhuman for me is one of if not the best kpop music this generation. It's really revolutionize the kpop genre and their songs are always ahead of its time.

the song superhuman was originally written for shinee!! but luckily nct 127 got it, it helped show off their vocal line. It would’ve sounded great from either group!!

It does sound so like the funky, disco, EDM-complectro sound SHINee is so associated with. Although to be fair, SM has been experimenting with this electronic pop sound and its derivatives over the past 10 years. But the "funk", Michael Jackson-y sound is always an aspect of SHINee, specifically.

tbh nct has unique and weird(in a good way) discographies, i mean dont u see how they debut with 7th sense? that song was in another dimension. im not a pro but srsly their producers make sth diff each time. u'll not drawn in first hear, but after several times, u'll urself weirdly and uniquely jammin to the song.
not because I’m a Shawol, but yeah, I have to admit it that SHINee is SM. whatever they tried to put on SHINee, they nailed it and it was tattooed on SM stan as well so they will notice every time SM try to put some sounds that give SHINee vibes on their other kids

If it had been a track released by any other famous artist, it would have 100s of millions of views. That is why this industry is ridiculous. Entertainment and Art the only fields where talent is not required to achieve success, name recognition is more important. That is why you have lots of crap playing on our radios. Radio DJ's are not what they used to be (music lovers who shared their passion with the world) also but merely the puppets (bought) of music labels

Honestly, except for the rap parts this song is a Shinee song through and through !!! And that is not a bad thing... It is a killer track, absolutely my favourite release from NCT ever!!! Also the mini album is stellar. Easily in my top three of releases in 2019, along with Monsta X and Stray Kids .. Seriously, how is every single release this year (except for BP :( ), just blowing me away ???

i don't think it's so much the shinee vibe as it is just sm's electric pop type songs that shinee just tends to get more than the other sm groups, this is still a very nct song, especially that chorus and their well rounded skillset :)

lmao just because you don't agree doesn't mean he isn't qualified. I think that based on the commentary he makes about the song that you can tell he knows what he's talking about in terms of music production. He can pick out different pieces of the production that the average person wouldn't really notice. He referenced other songs/bands that he though the song was similar to. He mentioned specific parts of the production and the song that he really liked and gave reasoning for why he enjoyed the song so much. In my mind, that's enough.

I feel like im the only one that absolutely hated the song. The verses sound like outdated mashed up exo and shinee songs and the robotic part is just terrible to my ear. Didnt like this track at all and the mv gave me a headache too :/ sad because I was excited.
