Actually if you look at past jersey cyphers and dances, these moves were there. Jersey club dancing is very fast paced and A LOT of footwork. So it isn’t Chicago footwork. It’s not like how there is Memphis Jooking. Where it’s specific to Tennessee. However, Jersey Club is specific to New Jersey and has been for years. So Chicago may have footwork, but I promise you it isn’t a Chicago specific thing. Also Jersey Club originated from house music hence the dance steps and specific rhythm. Either case, I enjoy Chicago and it’s dancing😊.
Also, the dance moves originated from Africa so yeah lol. Let’s not forget that house started in Baltimore. So Chicago may have adapted a dance style but it isn’t specific to Chicago how Jersey club is specific to NJ or how Memphis jooking is specific to Tennessee.
