I actually have a concept idea for the items in Baldi's Basics. Each of them, you can use in a song.
Quarter: Every 30 seconds in a song, you'll obtain a quarter unless your inventory is full. Once you free up a space, the quarter will immediately be put in that space, and the 30 second cooldown will begin again.
Vending Machines: At a randomized amount of time, you'll come across a pop-up vending machine in one of the corners that's near the health bar. You have 10 seconds to decide if you want to use a quarter, if you have one, to buy an item from the machine. Whether it's a soda machine or a chocolate machine is randomized. If you don't decide in 10 seconds, the pop-up will disappear.
B-Soda: If your health isn't all the way full, you can use the B-Soda to push your health to max. If you already have max health, you can still use the B-Soda, that will extend the health bar to the left, giving you more health. Kinda like the Tabi mechanic. However, if you lose the extended health, you can't really get it back unless you use the B-Soda again.
Energy-flavored Zesty Bar: This will increase the amount of health you gain from hitting a note. However, this effect only lasts 20 seconds.

I really like the mechanic of the screen showing text in the bottom corner preventing you from seeing your notes, I think that’s a really cool addition, but I think it should be a bit more noticeable, and that it should appear more throughout songs.
