Really great video. I hadn't seen this before and it is so worth trying. Twenty minutes a day is not that hard. Thank you so much for spreading your knowledge in a great way.
Hi Andre, Thanks for posting this up. I have played the piano for many years, but by only reading. After some soul searching and I finally realised that you need to be able to audiate if you want to reach the next level. I have tried many apps with limited success, so I’m prepared to give your method 6 weeks (2 weeks on each level) to see if I can push it along a bit quicker. I realise that it is ‘colour’ of each interval you need to listen for. I will let you know how I can on. Thanks again Chris
@@knobby7342 hi Chris, make sure to check out the Ear Training video from last week: The Complete Ear Training Workout (ALL Levels) th-cam.com/video/rtahOtySyQA/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for this video, also thank you for including other intervals not just the 3rds. For me the most difficult one and the one i need most practice with is the major 6 and minor 6 intervals thats where my ear gets a little foggy in recognising the sound.
Hi Andre! Thank you for this video! What I learned from this video? I learned that I need to sing intervals, not only after I heard it but also before, and check myself after it. What I'm also curious about is how to recognize chords by ears? Not only to differentiate major, minor, and diminished, but more complex chords and chord changes.
Hi Alexey, the key to chord recognition is the intervals, the more you are familiar with them the more you'll hear their sound within chords, too. Andre
I wish I had the attention span, to do this for one day, let alone every day! 😅 but thank you, for putting such resources on TH-cam! Your work is so appreciated, even if someone like me, struggles with using it! ❤

Thank you for your contribution. We need more people like you.
If you enjoyed the video and learned something new, could you please hit the 👍button, it really helps a lot! Thank you so much everyone! Andre

You are very welcome. Absolutely, some of these can be tricky, especially descending ones... Andre
The algorithm told me to NOT watch this video, but I’m doing it anyway.
Ha! It probably did. But if we all make videos for the algorithm, where's that going to lead us? 😀

Just do it as often as you can!
@@andretonelliI shall but try… 😌

I wanna be able to learn songs by ear, but I'm gonna practice this for a while before attempting a song cuz it gets me frustrated
Hi Rachel, how did it go?
