About 5 years ago, I wanted to cry because they spoke too fast too understand. But now I don't worry about it anymore because I can understand what they're saying even if there are no English subtitles.
Rhythm is just fine: natural and real. Learners should adapt to this as much as they can. I myself have used this video in my classes, and then I get some inspiration to produce my own videos. Good job!
As a teacher you could use our videos in your classroom teaching. We offer special rates and supplementary material such as teacher´s guides for most videos. If interested please contact us www.linguatv.com/contact.html . Best wishes LinguaTV-Team
@nikkicorreia Thanks for your comment; we are glad that you paid attention to this detail. Please consider that this video was produced for learning English. This lesson is part of the online video language course "English for Hotel & Tourism" at the website linguatv.com. Furthermore it´s up to the management of the specific hotel to decide upon this rule. Some hotels do, some don´t allow saying the room number. Saying it out loud, is never a good option. Please check out the rest of the course.
This video is amazing, the conversation between the front office and the customer is so good and added with subtitles make it easy for me to understand 🤩🤩👏👏

Did you know that LinguaTV.com offers a full English course for Hotel and Tourism with more than 20 video lessons, special vocabulary trainer, roles plays and many interactive exercises. Dear Nelson, correct - it´s for intermediate learner. Once you have seen the video with subtitles, try to read it covering the lyrics with your hands or finger, that trick helped me a lot to improve my listening, of course if you cannot understand everything, try it again, repeat and repeat!

Hi all, thank you very much for your comments. We understand your concern. But we need to clarify just one thing: this video is for learning English as a foreign language (not for training of hotel standards). Therefore we put as much vocabulary and phrases into it as possible. Some are standard questions; some are very useful, some might sound strange. But if you think about it, it makes sense to learn English in the context of a realistic situation. By-the-way: this video is part of an English course with more than 20 video lessons for employees at hotels and in tourism. Check it out for free at www.linguatv.com/af/freetrial Best wishes LinguaTV-Team

From experience I know if I made every single, simple question as long and complex as she did, the busy business guests would end up telling me to shh and hurry haha. Guests have a lot more going on in their day than just checking in, if i take to long they give very clear signals they are in a rush.
@sunoraam Dear sunoraam, many of the videos are in regards to the front office, working at the reception, taking calls from customers and dealing with guests. Please copy and paste this link here linguatv.com/p_Product/1/10070?lang=en . Best regards, LinguaTV

@MrJOHNNY1688 Good question! Depending on what you need, you could ask for a "single room" or a "double room". "Do you have a single room (available)?" But there are even more questions, e.g. "smoking" vs. "non-smoking" or the size of the bed (king, queen, etc.) and additional hotel facilities. Actually we offer a complete course featuring this and even more useful vocabulary and phrases. Please visit our website: (add w w w ) linguatv.com/p_Product/1/10070?lang=en for more information!

this is not for beginners, this is more for advanced learners, I think it lacks a little of strategy to teach. But I think the quality is great.
Best conversation ever
She is doing her job very well.
I wish all hotel service like this
Anyway, I love this arrangement of conversation. I can get a pic of it now how to speak with person at the counter 🤗🤗
Thank you for English Subtitled inside the video.

The recepcionist made a great performance
I like it a lot, I memorised the conversation by heart. I use it like a tonguetwister por developing my fluency.
Ajuda muito nas aulas expositivas. Faz com que os alunos pensem na postura de um profissional recepcionista. Agradeço.
Wow this is so perfect for me I'm glad with this channel

aquele momento que vc tem certeza, que por mais que vc estudou ainda tem uma longa estrada pela frente.
Well structured. Love it❤
That great conversation with the guest but might be bored ,long plane ✈️ and so many questions.
I love it the comvo just flow smoothly
Nice conversation, but was funny that he left his baggage at the end of the video
the baggage was left for the bell boy ;-)
Excellent work there! Oh and a nice day to everybody reading this! :)
Thank you very much!
wouldn't the guest get tired of those continual questions throwing by the receptionist??
I'd be thinking "geez, mind your own business @_@", though I'd answer all of the million questions she asked.
sometimes they're happy to talk a bit, but if someone's tired, you normally see it, so you don't ask much except mandatory questions
