My name is Andy and I am a Malaysian Chinese. I was born, grew up and studied in Malaysia and spent my entire 44 years in Malaysia, except for about 11 years that I was away for study in England and work in Hong Kong and Singapore. I have also been to South Korea, Taiwan and China for 50 times over the past 4 years for work and I really enjoy and appreciate the different cultures and food in different parts of the world.
For pork lovers, when you come to Malaysia, please don’t forget to try Bak Kut Teh, which is regarded as one of the signature and most popular dishes in Malaysia. Bak Kut Teh is a herbal soup dish made with pork ribs and Chinese herbs and you can easily find the restaurant selling this dish in every corner of the Malaysian Chinese commercial streets. It is also common for people living in Johor Bahru to have Bak Kut Teh for breakfast.
Kiang Kee is a super famous brand for Bak Kut Teh in Johor Bahru and they offer “thick” soup base with strong herbal flavour. Kiang Kee is also popular with their pepper stomach soup and braised pork knuckle. We will normally have the hot Oolong tea alongside the meal as we believe that the tea will help to dilute the fat.

熱愛美食的阿亮今天跟大家介紹馬來西亞新山家喻戶曉的順發肉骨茶。肉骨茶是其中一道最具代表性的馬來西亞美食，不管走到馬來西亞的任何角落，凡是有華人的地方，一定可以找到男女老少都喜歡的肉骨茶。在新山，肉骨茶也是熱門的早餐選項之一哦
強記肉骨茶是屬於藥材且口味濃郁香醇的的湯底，裏邊可以搭配豬腸、軟骨、排骨等。第一口喝下去馬上啟動五臟六腑的感官，非常美味。白胡椒豬肚湯和鹵豬腳也是強記肉骨茶的主打菜餚，濃鬱的香味很容易不小心的讓人一口氣吃兩大碗飯。熱騰騰的豬腰湯也是阿亮的最愛。配上一壺熱乎乎的普洱茶，幸福指數直接破表
