- Very Impressed with this van , well thought out and a spacious feel at the rear , Snug upfront with the half dinette but still adequate space to relax and eat or just put your feet up and look out the huge sliding door , the half dinette allows for the longer rear bench seats enabling you to lay long ways providing you are under 6ft , a very nice van indeed ( there were 5 plug sockets ! the other was at the rear of the van under the passengers side bench seat by the back door )
LIKES - Automatic gearbox - Large lockers Large wardrobe - 160bhp - an open feel in the cab area with the panoramic roof - underslung water heater allowing more storage under the seats - light and airy in the rear of the van - the abilIty to lay length ways
DISLIKES - Narrow gangway up front but this can't be helped , possible shower handle in the way - no support struts when holding up the rear bench seats
Is this van a bit of me ? … id say yes
Brand new for under 60K with the new 9spd automatic gearbox , 160 bhp , AND alloy wheels

Great video thanks for sharing. We purchased a 6.36 metre van conversion in April this year after caravanning for 40+ years and whilst we had some concerns regarding the space between the kitchen and bathroom we quickly adapted to it. We chose a van with a front dinette and a raised rear double bed which means we don't have to make up the beds every night and it gives excellent storage beneath for chairs, table, ramps and anything else we need to carry. For us the benefits of the van conversion are that we can go anywhere we went with the car and it can easily be stored on the drive at home.
thank you for your response its good that you have adapted to your van conversion , i agree they can be driven and parked almost anywhere but sacrificing the space and storage that a larger motorhome or caravan offers can be a huge gamble & decision , it sounds like you have made it work for you , it’s funny how we think we need lots of stuff onboard but can be just as happy and survive without it all !

What an excellent review mate really comprehensive not sure that I wouldn't feel a bit cramped after a while with 2 adults and a dog but a nice van conversion.

There are some real positives to that van but I still prefer a coach built. Nice, fair review given by your good self. Watching this gave me something to do while waiting for my homemade bread to prove! Thanks.

We have the new 9-speed full automatic, 140 BHP. it is so smooth and changes through the gears without you realizing. Cruise control stays locked in at 70mph even up heels.

Its not bad for a two person i always like to see where a tv would go come lounge /bedroom its not a bad van i see where tv goes now at least you gave it a good going over 🌞👍

For my fort van it has everything we need
hi glad you are enjoying your new van , there are so many awning styles to chose from it will be almost impossible for me to give you any advice other than there are 2 types for your van , a free standing awning (a tent ) or a driveaway awning which attaches to your roll out canopy awning if you have one , have a look at driveaway awnings online , theres also a choice to have air blow up ones or normal pole ones

We thought these Benivans were very good value, automatic, 160 hp, solar, fly screens and heated front seats!! Very similar to the Autotrail V line it seems. Enjoyed the tour you gave🙂

Nice van but as you pointed out Mike it's a tad narrow at the kitchen/bathroom, as for the shakey camera you sure there's not a wee fishy stuck in there! lol..or are you using a new one now.
haha yes terry a goldfish , that did make us laugh sitting here , but no that was filmed when the camera in question was still under water , it’s still working fine and use it all the time

Nice van, I like the skylight but space is a premium so it puts me off, pinch point always the same in a 1/2 dinette van, not sure it’s worth 10k more than mine….. nice video tho Mike I’ve not seen one in the metal, cheers.

That's why we will never buy a van convert. Narrow in the important areas. Shame I do like the look etc
yes that particular one was very narrow where the front seating area was , but i agree with the look of the van and seemed value for money with the added extras 👍

Nice tour but for nearly £58,000 it is not good value
It is a poorly designed van and that front dinette was ridiculously tight, they could have fitted a separate shower easily or at least a swing system, no USB ports and the draught from those back doors would be pretty chilly come winter, the list goes on.
German camper vans are head and shoulders above this.
Each to their own but I would like to know if it is winterproof for that price, I seriously doubt it.
good points , maybe not as well insulated as german vans but i’d say the price with that new automatic transmission is pretty good taking in to account the value of these vans in the last couple of years have sky rocketed , definitely compact up the front and a narrow gangway , most vans now need usb’s! i don’t understand why they are still reluctant to add them they can’t cost much surely a cheap addition and a good selling point

Sorry Mike it doesn't float my boat. But that's me, van conversions are to claustrophobic.
Compare it to your motorhome no comparison.
You were just sitting on the toilet, what happens when you need to turn and wipe your bum, think that there ole tap might give you a few bruises.🤣🚽.

hi guys 😂😂 yes indeed that tap did look a bit intimidating stuck out like that to say the least , one should turn quite slowly under the circumstances for the all important wipe 😂 , jokes aside yes the narrow bit upfront was a bit too narrow but the back of the van was pretty roomy , it looked nice on the outside but as you say claustrophobic

In defence of van conversions, when you put the dinette area at the front then it does become tight for space. The best layout for a van is 2 belted seats and a U shaped rear lounge at the back with a boot ( just my opinion😀).

Campers and small to medium motorhomes come into there own on Scottish and Cornwall roads.

Goodness me that's way to tight, we used to have a Warwick duo 6 years ago that was quite a bit bigger but shorter, wouldn't entertain the benimar sorry. Good video though
