Green Mulberry is called Pakistan variety and they are more sweeter.

had lot of this fruit in our farm in gujarat in my childhood, this tree was found in many homes also, now a days pata nahi. We call it Setur in gujarati, very delicious, you took me back to my childhood memories, The bird singing in the background sounded like Koyel, so melodious.
These mulberry tress rather I would call plants are found in abundance in Karnataka especially around Bengaluru. But it's specifically grown for feeding silk worm ONLY. It doesn't bear fruits as they keep on chopping leaves for the worms. When I was small I had this tree in my garden. Eaten a lot of berries, never tried juice.

I must say the place , plants and fruits are a replica of my home that is in Kashmir. By the way we call it "tull" here in Kashmir . And i think u missed the thing that the wood of this plant is durable and is used to carve beautiful designs .

Its very expensive here blueberry ,mulberry in Mumbai counts in exotic fruit we get it mostly here in packets form dry/ripped haven eaten them in Mahabaleshwar 100rs per small karoti (12-13 piece)

Actually Mulberries can be easily grown in Mumbai, even in big sized pots or drums.
I know some people,growing them on their terraces.
In fact, there are quite a few Mulberry trees in Mumbai, there is one on Carter Road, near Khar Danda, unfortunately, nobody knows about it. I noticed ripe fruits on it and plucked them and ate them fresh.🤗
Mulberry saplings are available in Leela nursery, Santacruz west.

Those trees, birds, fruits wow it's just beautiful. And mulberry is very expensive here is kolkata and we rarely get to buy it.
