This is my 2002 Maruti Suzuki Zen AX(Automatic Transmission) MPFI model.
I purchased it in September 2018 and it was in stock condition.

Bro how is your riding experience ...about power..milage...and whats about the atomatic transmition is that have any lag while the transmission (as like in amt gearbox)
Its great as the engine condition is top notch due to the Torque converter Automatic Gearbox. It doesn't lag like the AMT, however, its a 3 speed Gearbox and I would say, does a decent job

@@mirshakalif1974 AT Transmission parts are very expensive, If its damaged, buy a used Manual Gearbox and get it installed... It will give double the mileage and would be low maintenance.

Yes sir, Zen, 800, Esteem came in Automatic Transmission with a 3 speed gearbox, I spent around 80k-1lac for restoration including, tyres, suspension, paint, service, steering rack, wheel exel, alloy refurbishing, seat covers, music system, front glass(as it had lot of haze), power window was not working(front two), Manual to Power Steering(as AT never came with EPS)

Damn, very nice work. My father gave me his 2004 old zen bro, it's like in an ok ok condition. Can you suggest me where to start and how much will be the exact cost if I want to get it modified like this. Mine is a manual transmission
including paint job it would cost around 80k-90k
1. If paint is needed, do the paint job first..
2. Any mechanical work, like suspension servicing, any broken parts replacement, wirings
3. Seat covers, mats
4. If u don't want to spend much and ok with steel rims, go for good quality wheel caps which looks like alloy wheels
@@SpeedFreaksDIY Thanks for the suggestion man. Yes paint is needed. Then the rear windows needs to be fixed, they don't go down. Interior needs to be cleaned. Seat covers and floor mats are already good. Then the music system and clock, I want to customize like you. Then the AC needs to be fixed, silencer and door beaders needs to be fixed along with the tail lights. Then also front 2 tyres. Do you think all this can be done within 60-70k?

Bro u might have to search scrap centres for it, esteem, WagonR and 800 also came with the same gearbox, but it's a 3 speed and gives mileage of 8-10kmpl....new gear box costs 1.5l

Thank you for the suggestion bro,,....but those tail lamps are expensive, not worth the price...also those 13 Alloys,,,,cannot spend that much as of now, may be in future...already spent more than 1.6 lacs on it after purchasing!!

Bhai sab alag jagah kiya hai...color jiske paas kiya, uska denting painting is not satisfactory at all....bas the paint which he got was superb....finishing is not at all good...
The price of automatic cars have increased since the outbreak of Corona pandemic, as people now prefer personal transport over public transport. So the used car prices and sales of automatic cars are on the rise. It will keep on increasing.
Now when the offices will be full functional, more and more ladies will need personal transport. So the prices of automatic cars are going to rise very high.
Suzuki Japan engine, Japan gear box Japan carburetor, Japan radiator, Japan axles, All zen automatic cars prior to year 2000 have high quality original Suzuki engine and imported 'Made in Japan' Suzuki automatic gearbox.
This car is quite reliable during my usage. The only shortcoming which I felt is the absence of power steering. It may not be a shortcoming for youngsters. Otherwise this automatic zen met all my requirements.
The other automatic cars like Santro, i10 etc have Korean automatic gearbox, Latest Maruti cars have Indian made automatic gear boxes. Even other Maruti cars like old WagonR automatic and A-star automatic, First model Dzire automatic, S cross automatic, Vitara Brezza automatic (These cars have 4 speed automatic gear box which is a modified version of the automatic gear box seen in the Zen AT) has Indian made automatic gear box. Zen AT has THREE speed automatic gear box. This zen has Japanese gearbox, Japanese engine, Japan made radiator with inbuilt 'automatic gear oil cooler', Japan drive axles and seals. Very high quality. Do NOT compare this RARE car with manual gear zen.
It's a GM 3 Speed Gearbox, not a Japanese...

Bhai CNG remove kardo please it destroying the engine use only petrol.
Kisne bola bhai aapko?cng runs cleaner than petrol....it just that we also need to use petrol for first few kilometres.....this is my third car with cng....log kuch bhi galat failate hai.....Mumbai mein 10-15yrs se aaj tak cars cng pe chal rahe without any issues
