I posted this Question in her other video but this one shows a good picture around the 6:59 - 7:05*mark. It shows the element K haveing 2,8,8,1 = to 19 electron and having 4 shells BUT here RB shows 2,8,18,8,1 = to 37 electrons but only having 5 shells.. WHY is that. WHY is that RB can have 18 electron in its 3rd shells and K can only have 8 its 3rd shells!!!! should RB be something like this 2,8,8,8,8,3? making RB to have 6 shells?

i don't quite agree with your defintion on ionisation energy because you mentioned that its the removal from a "NEUTRAL" gaseous atom rather its should be from a gaseous atom or ion. i would say the defintion you gave us was of the first ionisation energy. unless of course you are saying removal from a mole of ion is not ionisation energy.....but overally its a good video

I posted this Question in her other video but this one shows a good picture around the 6:59 - 7:05*mark. It shows the element K haveing 2,8,8,1 = to 19 electron and having 4 shells BUT here RB shows 2,8,18,8,1 = to 37 electrons but only having 5 shells.. WHY is that. WHY is that RB can have 18 electron in its 3rd shells and K can only have 8 its 3rd shells!!!! should RB be something like this 2,8,8,8,8,3? making RB to have 6 shells?

i don't quite agree with your defintion on ionisation energy because you mentioned that its the removal from a "NEUTRAL" gaseous atom rather its should be from a gaseous atom or ion. i would say the defintion you gave us was of the first ionisation energy. unless of course you are saying removal from a mole of ion is not ionisation energy.....but overally its a good video
