My father drove one (1000 Spécial, same engine, 60 hp, as Rallye 1). It was very fragile and had cooling problems in summer after 2 years, never solved. Unfortunately my father dropped a car battery in the trunk. Despite cleaning it with thousands of liters of water, it still rusted a lot over there and everywhere else.
Yeah these cars had some problems but now thanks to the brand lovers, some problems have been solved and cars are more reliable, but from what I know the big problem in these cars is the gearbox

Bought this car in 1976,grn - black color. and drove it for six yrs with no problem
