Why am I not reading this sort of criticism towards Hoyo games or other developers? HI3 - Copy of DMC and Bayonetta Genshin - Copy of Zelda and open world games Star Rail - Literally just a turn based JRPG with gacha ZZZ - Action game that you can easily play in 2000s era MMO Like take a look at most games today and tell me every developer has some unique "Identity" attached to them. Unless they were pioneers of a genre, 95% of it just took ideas from an existing game genre too and spun it as their own.
Kuro has to make a super tactical move for their next game. Like someone else said, they need their own identity. PGR at first was called a Hi3 copy cat back then, Wuwa with Genshin, they need something surprising. Shift up (Nikke creators) did an amazing move with Stellar blade and it's honestly not a bad blueprint to follow if executed right. Hoyo i think... On your last video is already making a new game? That's like a Stardewvalley/animal crossing type thing. And honestly... That's a super smart move. Cuz the years coming will be packed with some crazy games... Plus, people are starting to get tired of Open World and some the progression of Gacha. Just gacha burn out. Releasing a chill game is actually a very smart move.

With HI3 being revolutionary in 2016, Genshin another evolution for the Gacha space in 2020, HSR coming right in when open world burnout was starting and then ZZZ, the chiller filler. And then... If that new game is true to the leaks then you can already assume the targeted audience. And that audience is gonna be large...

What’s interesting about Project Mugen is that the devs said the game has this and that, and from what they showed off it looked like the game was close to being ready, but over a year now, we haven't heard anything at all about the game. It makes me wonder if this game will fade into obscurity like Seven Deadly Sins Origin.

So far my most antecipated is Arknights: Endfield, but I'm down for more Kuro games. I just hope it's not a GI/wuwa like game. @@FantasyBreaker Yeah basically some images were deemed 'inappropriate' by Google Play from what I've seen and so they've gotta work it out with Google and get it approved, possibly changing something if they really have to. Hopefully not. But they're working to get it approved and will be compensating players for it.
As much as I like the original GFL, it was not very beginner-friendly. I remember going to a another website just trying to understand the core gameplay mechanics. And it took me at least a week or two to grasp it. I hope they simplify GFL 2 somewhat to be make it more accessible.

I visited the Arknights Endfield booth yesterday and had high expectations, however the whole experience was kinda underwhelming, including the gameplay. The game will probably have a very hard time competing with games like Genshi, Wuwa and all the upcoming open-world gacha games.
@@Stixxy As for the booth, while the cosplayers were absolutely gorgeous, there wasn't really anything else going on, the staff didn't really explain anything and just led me to the PC to try the game and thats it, no merch or any cool events. I expected something like last year's Wuwa booth wich was absolutely incredible, but maybe they just didn't have anthing going on on trade visitor day... Gameplay was good overall, but I was really taken aback by the combat which felt super stiff, there is no evade(!?) and you pretty much only have normal attacks, a skill and an ult, while animations are not really comparable to Wuwa and Genshin in quality. Character models and pre-rendered cutscenes are top tier tho.
Umm, i have never played Arknights, but Enfield seems like in its own category, mucb like Arknights. I don't its good and fair to compare it WuWa and Genshin just because its gacha as well

GFL2 are more active in Chinese? It is a dead game there, the dev f up so much in every department that a lot of people in Chinese quit.
