I love it when a song describes a universal, subjective feeling, sonically, accurately AND in a unique or novel way. This song is a perfect example. Panic can be a heavy slow, exhausting, undulating creep, specifically if what you are most terrified by takes time to truly manifest. I simply adore the realization of this track.
Like first you hear from your doctor"your disease is getting worse you are going to die" Even after realise what he said doesn't seem real you expect to wake up and find it was just a bad dream But as day go by disease shows worse symptoms panic hit slowly and gradually As you see it coming slowly But approching the end the finishline death
writedrunk.editdrunk 1) I love your username. Great strategy. 2) Usually when that happens to me it's because the nightmare left off at a point that gave the dream a dark implication for my real life and I need the end of it to be resolved or else I remain scared even after waking. (ex. someone curses me in the dream to die a horrible death, and I have some kind of anti-curse potion to stop them, but the dream ends before I get to use it).
This feels like blood running through your veins, heart beating, sweat falling down your forehead, a weak sigh, the desperate tilt in the pupils, the last quiet breath taken before fear takes over your senses...
Some of the pictures and scenes in this don't look actually painful, just uncomfortable. But after a while, they will easily become extremely painful, kind of like how panic takes time to manifest before it becomes uncontrollable fear.
Concordo; e mi piace che possa sembrare altro. No è il mix piacere dolore, nella sua continuità. E non si tratta di sesso; questo simbolismo hanno usato per comunicare molto altro..
Been struggling with panic attack for years now. I used to find this video meaningless. But now, god, how good it feels to just keep watching and watching knowing that it exactly visualize how I feel through all these years. It is hard to describe the feeling of being in complete "there is something wrong" mode for years. You just described it in 5 mins. 10/10.
This has darkness in it. Nothing cruel or evil. Maybe slightly twisted. Like when you are overcome with feeligs like sorrow, fear etc and can feel the ache in your chest so badly that there is no choise but to succumb to it and relish in it, let it soothe you.
@@greymetamorphosis Oh, thank you kindly. The other comment: I haven't really got more to add, but what I can tell is that otters are really cute animals.
My taste in music is all over the place . I mainly listen to female heavy metal bands these days . I do have a liking for this music . Although I couldn't listen to it all the time . Its not often that an artist can make sounds of uada, but this has pegged it perfectly. The panic which resides inside the cage, is slow building or rapid fire. Outta no where the panic attacks, the panic button has been pushed, the panic is on.
The tension. If my tension was an instrument, this song would be a masterclass in playing it. It’s that… Maybe this is just a me thing. It’s that feeling of numb clarity when something really really bad happened, but you don’t know exactly what to do yet. It’s classic dissociation, which not everyone gets. But I sure do. It’s like being more alive and pure than you’ve ever been, and also like being dead and inert internally. There’s a tempest screaming up from the bottom of an infinitely dividing void below. Somehow you know the tempest is eating things vital to you, but you can’t actually feel it anymore, except abstractly. Or at least not for right now. Creepy how good this song is at that evocation.
Nobody really wants panic, but 3 minutes to go through ALL the parts and reach the out door is cathartic. True panic comes from not believing you will make it to the out door.
Looks like more a dream, one of those that you don't remember, but keeping still in your ears, head and eyes. But never knows exactly what happened, just the feeling in your mind. This song have a sound of marching, the walk of the soldiers in the beginning of the war. Seems like the alert of a war and the emotions in one. It's obviously scary, but cerimonial too; divine and horrible. It is a "milk shake" of feelings that I don't know; or never feel. But it's reverberating, like my dreams when I'm sleep and in the mornings. Going on and on forever... Until I forget. War.
Wow! Perfectly explained! I could never put that feeling into words. That feeling from the dream just changes your whole perspective for a few, it’s like you’re still a little stuck in that realm. Beautiful illustrations.
I have no idea how this got on my playlist in my car, but I have never questioned nor skipped it. I happen to have found out the name and artist of this mysterious track randomly today.
There's just something about this that draws me to it, is so much feeling in one song!!! Thank you for sharing this!! I'm at a loss for words as to describe this, this has to be felt to know but not described in words.
💫🖤💜Today I've Discovered This Fresh & New~To~Me Musical Artist who's PERFECT for My Movement whilst Practicing My Chaos~Craft. For This I Thank You & I Am Infinitely Grateful!!!💜🖤💫
Absolute chills. Song is straight flow, as always. Whoever made the video..., my lord, absolutely unnerving and so well fitting and balanced to the song. Inspirational, truly. and I dont often give such praise.
It’s a cold and lonely calmness. Like a cold walk through the streets of a city right before sunrise. Buzz fading from the night. Fatigue and sleep asserting their presence slowly, but you are for now liberated from truly feeling the toll.
Wow. One focused sample loop over very evocative music some discordance mostly harmonics-punch you in the feels feel. No lyrics No faces No ego. Very impressive. Haven't seen actual art in a loooong time. Seems very current too. Here for 2020 pandemic. New sub. Hard core Indy buff with a thirst for actual up and coming talent. Impressive.Looking forward to seeing what else you have!
I found a way to explain my anxiety attacks. It's like I have an invisible glass plate in my hands, i am tired of carrying it, I can feel it slipping and I can't do anything about it. All I can do is fear it's impact on my bare feet. It's sound, crashing, over and over again. It's like that in your chest, in your head, taking up all the space like a thick heavy fog, throughout your entire body. And it can last 20 seconds or 30 minutes, sometimes even hours. And it doesn't make sense, because I don't have a glass plate and I am just having lunch at university.
I'm not sure about the Xiu Xiu part? What influence(s) do you hear? I've mostly listened to Forget and Twin Peaks though, so I might not know them enough?
💕 This 🎶 this is the theme song for 2020 in my overthinking mind, yet, it was one of the most relaxed and abundant years of my life. Juxtaposition everyone around you finally looks in the mirror of anxiety and you display mercy and compassion for the whole world.
Once panicking everything your world stats getting slow, your prosess of the situation as well, that's why we end up usually making the bad decisions. ART indded.
That sounds genuinely horrifying lol. I remember hearing a song by a band called the Handsome Furs when I was high out of my mind and I was convinced it was the scariest shit Id ever heard lol. This song is much scarier
Becky Roberts Sure! If I get a recording of it, I'll post it to my dance channel (Liska Bellydance). If you're interested in learning bellydance, check out the channel Free Bellydance Classes. Or Datura Online, where you can "rent" videos for as low as $8 per month. 😊

@writedrunk.editdrunk I do.
Well, that exact thing happens to me! there's just something so fascinating about nightmares sometimes.
I love how it makes me happy, relaxed, scared, anxious all at the same time, I have no idea what going on but I like it's a good song
it’s art :)
This is the song of 2020! The panic is on.

song suits 'perfect blue' perfectly

Watching this while trying to suffocate a 1 am panic attack - you write the truth
Forget the visuals, look at the sound.

this is what 2020 sounds like

I, I don't know how to describe how I felt when I first heard this, so surreal..

This sounds like something bad is about to happen, love it.
Doubler I feel like "everything is going to be good" I don't know why jajaja
After a while i notice that even lady in the background is chanting something like "I feel like something's wrong", maybe i'm mishearing that though.
I feel something's wrong
But the panic is on now
I feel something's wrong
But the panic is on
:)
Patricia T. Thanks for clearing that up :p
thought it was "i fear"?
This kind of cinematography is so satisfying to see. I love it
that felt exactly like a bad trip
the comment i was looking for
I feel something's wrong
But the panic is on
I feel something's wrong
But the panic is on
But the panic is on
Katelyn Cheney I thought I heard, "Panic is home."
Hypergalactic Atom Reaction it does kinda sound like that too 😊 but the official Genius lyrics say “But the panic is on”
Lol i heard "headaches are (indistinguishable word)"
Thank you.
We just has another school shooting today in the USA. I need to hear this
A future that never was, or we are the past that never happened.

Art. Nothing but... PURE ART!!!!
This is fantastic real art. In my opinion one of the deepest music videos over the last years ❤
That cello note in the beginning says it all. PANIC. Very anxiety inducing, in the best way possible. Another masterpiece from Forest Swords
This song is pure foreboding

Third tune from Forest Swords I'm listening to... falling deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole.
It's called panic, but does anyone else find it strangely calming?

i thought I was alone
It's calming because it's been your natural state?
It’s a cold and lonely calmness. Like a cold walk through the streets of a city right before sunrise. Buzz fading from the night. Fatigue and sleep asserting their presence slowly, but you are for now liberated from truly feeling the toll.
Most Body-Horror music video I've seen. And whatever this song is a keeper.
Fantastic tune, I can't even describe it.
шикарный альбом, уже несколько лет на репите и все так же нравится

This music and video is on whole another level. I just "simply" like it. I don't know for me gives me power.. I cannot describe better
Raising something to provide something and eventually it finally succeeds in doing what you want, at the expense of being well out of your control.
