They have many people that stan them, but not reveluvs. For example, there are so many people that support Red Flavor, and also voting it as SOTY because they like the song. But when Red Velvet comeback with Peekaboo, that people didn’t support it, because the song is not their styles. Another example is Power Up achieved 10th win in music shows, but RBB don’t win anything. This proved that Red Velvet’s fanbase is still unstable. And even though they have many fans, it is still considered less compared to Twice and Blackpink even though Red Velvet is one of the seniors in third gen era. One of the worst things, they have so many solo stans and OT4 stans (yeri haters). There are many reveluvs that claim they are reveluvs, but when a member get hates or something, they don’t care about that because that member is not their bias. Because of that, I’m sure SM is still unsatisfied with Red Velvet’s achievement, especially that SM is a competitive company. But actually, I’m happy enough with Red Velvet’s popularity, because they have lesser toxic fans than the other bigger fanbase, and most of reveluvs are matured. I couldn’t agree more on what you said that reveluv has lesser toxic fans esp if you compare to wannables (i admit we have so many akgaes) considering the nature on how the group was formed. I enjoy RV individual projects more than their group songs, like variety, reality shows and their collaboration projects. They always stood out in those even when they were not together with their members. That is why i cannot really understand why RV had a hard time sometimes in their group works. It’s really nice talking insightfully about kpop idols like this. I enjoy it because to me kpop is not merely entertainment, there is a lot to learn, it’s a culture to understand and more importantly how people are different and similar to each other at the same time.

As much as I want her to have solo, I don’t think SM will let her, because Red Velvet doesn’t even have a stable fanbase yet. I hope people would appreciate Red Velvet’s talents more. 💜
Secret BxT i have nothing againts RV, they are really beautiful, talented, good singers, great stage presence and their personality is distinctive from each other. Yet i am not a fan of their “red” type of music. Instead i always love their “velvet” side. Every songs showed their girl crush charms is fantastic. This is why i think i cannot stan them fully. That’s why they have some songs that are hit, while the others are considered as the unsuccessful comebacks. They have many people that stan them, but not reveluvs. For example, there are so many people that support Red Flavor, and also voting it as SOTY because they like the song. But when Red Velvet comeback with Peekaboo, that people didn’t support it, because the song is not their styles. Another example is Power Up achieved 10th win in music shows, but RBB don’t win anything. This proved that Red Velvet’s fanbase is still unstable. And even though they have many fans, it is still considered less compared to Twice and Blackpink even though Red Velvet is one of the seniors in third gen era. One of the worst things, they have so many solo stans and OT4 stans (yeri haters). There are many reveluvs that claim they are reveluvs, but when a member get hates or something, they don’t care about that because that member is not their bias. Because of that, I’m sure SM is still unsatisfied with Red Velvet’s achievement, especially that SM is a competitive company. But actually, I’m happy enough with Red Velvet’s popularity, because they have lesser toxic fans than the other bigger fanbase, and most of reveluvs are matured.

Secret BxT wow, i do not much pay attention to how big reveluv is but now that you told me i get the idea. I couldn’t agree more on what you said that reveluv has lesser toxic fans esp if you compare to wannables (i admit we have so many akgaes) considering the nature on how the group was formed. I enjoy RV individual projects more than their group songs, like variety, reality shows and their collaboration projects. They always stood out in those even when they were not together with their members. That is why i cannot really understand why RV had a hard time sometimes in their group works. It’s really nice talking insightfully about kpop idols like this. I enjoy it because to me kpop is not merely entertainment, there is a lot to learn, it’s a culture to understand and more importantly how people are different and similar to each other at the same time.
